The college has a batch size of 1200 people. This can be good in a way as you meet new people and make contacts, but, bad in a way that there's too much competition. There are 32 clubs in IBS. They include co-curricular as well as extra-curricular clubs. This gives students the opportunity to meet people of same interest and do something productive.
Placements: The placement scenario of my batch and my senior batch was really good. The highest package offered was 46.36 lakhs by Tolaram Group Nigeria with BDM profile and the lowest offered was 3 lakhs. The average salary was 6 LPA for marketing students and 7 LPA for finance students. Majorly, the roles offered were entry level management i.e. trainees and rest depends on the interview.
I have mixed reviews for IBS Hyderabad. One will find excellent campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its clubs and events. The placements are above average, although every year average CTC is increasing. This year, average CTC is approx. 6.6L. The fee structure at my time of joining was 15L for 2 years, but because of average 6.6L CTC one will get ROI in 2.5 to 3 years. So, IBS should reduce strength from 1108 to approx. 700 and increase CTC from 6.6L to 8L. So the students ...
The college is really awesome and the classes are very interactive. Case-study based teaching style is very beneficial for the students. The teacher to student ratio is also good. The courses consist of all the necessary subjects as per the requirements. Apart from studies, there are a lot of extracurricular activities. Many programs are conducted in the campus from time to time. There are more than 30 clubs for different domains like marketing, finance, operations, etc. The only drawback is the...
Your life will change for sure if you join this college. Worth joining this college. Campus life is awesome, morning to night schedule will be great. Study is good. You must be flexible enough to learn everything here. You will get to know how to become a team player. Join any internal club, like samavesh or ecobizz. There are around 30 clubs in the college. It’s a good college to learn personal as well as professional life attitude, behaviour, and knowledge.
IBS Hyderabad - the one place where you would get all the opportunities & facilities. The only drawback is that the student intake is very high, but the college administration makes sure that every single student gets placed at the end of the course. With fully fledged residential campus, facilities provided are very nice and professors are also good. However, fee is too high.
A great college with an ideal mix of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Case Study methodology gives a good platform to actually exercise the management concepts studied in the books. Thus, providing us with hand on experience of management. The college also helps us in development of our leadership skills.
ICFAI Business School is well known for its MBA program. It has excellent faculty and works towards overall personality development of students through its various educational, cultural and sports clubs. Apart from this, the college has excellent infrastructure and provide exceptionally good living facilities to students.
Exposure is the best word to describe ICFAI Hyderabad. Mini India we say, students from all over the country, you get a chance to know different cultures, to handle and learn to communicate with members of different state, caste, and creed. MBA doesn't teach you something in specific it just helps to polish yourself, to handle and manage things in the best possible way, and, according to me, this is the best college to learn that trick.
The faculty is good and infrastructure is excellent. But if you are looking for ROI on your fee, then I wouldn't suggest this college. Reason being, there will be tough competition when it comes to placements. There are 1200 students, so the college authorities try to get all the students placed and are unable to focus on the packages they offer. And once a company selects you, you are not allowed to apply to any other company visiting the college. Apart from this, campus as such will give you a...
The good thing about this college is its diverse and polished culture. The infrastructure in the college is just so good. The faculty has a very good teaching methodology and a good pedagogy. We had a call participation system, which allows students to interact with each other and the professors.
It is one of the branded institutions in India but not worth the money because they take too many students and placements are not that good and in the process careers is compromised. The facilities are up to the mark. There is a good faculty. But the class strength is too big and thus, one might face difficulty in adjusting. The competition is also too high.
The college has a very good campus life and the infrastructure is great. The classes were very interactive and informative. The college has a 90% placement guarantee. 50% faculty members are not up to the mark. The fee structure is very high, which I feel not worth the money as the ROI is lowered. Pre-placement preparation was average. Overall, it is a good college.
It is a well established institution. Has a beautiful campus. Placements are good and up to 70% people get placed every year. It has exuberant campus life. The crowd is pretty good. Getting admissions is fairly easy. The best campus of IBS is in Hyderabad itself. It believes in all round growth of an individual. The only disadvantage being that it's located in the outskirts, therefore commuting to the city becomes difficult. Faculty is also good. And course material given follows a pattern of th...
IBS Hyderabad stands out in the market because of its teaching methods. IBS Hyderabad has adopted case based study method which gives the students the practical approach for each concept which is being taught in the class. IBS Hyderabad is just not limited to this, the college has about 30 clubs such as finance, marketing, strategy, sports etc. The campus is spread over 100 acres and it has a lush green environment which makes the atmosphere pleasant. The crowd in college is from various parts o...
If you get into ICFAI, you probably didn't get into a premium prominent MBA college. It's an average college, with good job opportunities and average faculty. Only, if the fee was lower it would have made a great college in sense of ROI. Decent for finance and just average for marketing. Don't go for HR in this college.
It is a great place to learn new things and enhance skills. The fee is a bit on the expensive side, but the college life is excellent. The college has an overcrowded batch strength and the faculty needs to improve. The placements are alright. There are almost 100% placements but the average is a bit low at around 5-6 lakhs per annum (mostly due to high batch strength).
ICFAI Hyderabad, is one of the pioneer college under ICFAI brand. But like every second college in India which could stand out of the crowd but don’t, ICFAI does the same. The Goods:- - Pretty good for freshers, if you are experienced (stay away). - Known for Finance domain, the crowd, culture, clubs, and exposure. The Bads:- - Strength (1100 +). - Not good companies come for Marketing. - College doesn’t focuses on SIP. - Good faculty members are leaving the college. - Strictness at t...
Environment is very good. Campus is well maintain and it is one of the renowned universities. Students come from all over India. It has 100% placements too. Fixed time for classes keeps students on their toes. There are few drawbacks too. The campus is far away from the city which makes commuting difficult. Some basic facilities are also not available. The quality of mess food is sometimes not good but still the mess committee keeps a check on that.
