Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members. Placements and infrastructure are good.

Placements: With proper discipline and having no arrears in any semesters, students can easily get jobs through campus placement. Many international companies have arrived for placement. This year, more than 70 students out of 100 who cleared their academics got placed. They don't tolerate any indisciplinary actions, and one may lose his placement if found.

TS Chanakya, the tradition.

Placements: Placements are a bit down these days but mostly expected to rise in a few years down the lane. The recession which is prevalent in the merchant industry has definitely affected the placements, and now seem to improve with a concentrated effort in the right direction.

TS Chanakya is back with a boom, placements are improving rapidly, and the industry knows it.

Placements: Mostly 4 to 5 companies visit the campus placements each year which includes NYK, FML (mass recruiter), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Essar and Seaarland. You will get placed in your 5th semester if your class 12th aggregate is above 70 and good percentage in university exams. Our third year's batch placements are around 60 percent, and yet there are 2 more companies to visit the campus. Mostly you have a greater chance of your placements if you don't fail here, there are no disciplinary actions against ...

The college is built on disciplines, and the same is about this college. TS Chanakya is the first.

Placements: The placements are quite good. You don't have to worry about being number one, number two, three, but your communication skills may decide your future. The average placement of TS Chanakya is 60 percent. Fourth semester onwards, placement starts as the fourth semester is the most important. At last, if you are good enough then no one can stop you.

I think this institute is one of the best training institutes for merchant navy.

Placements: If you are an average student candidate, then you will get the job easily. Along with the study, you have to be disciplined as per rule. All our seniors have been placed till now. If you want to join, then don't bother about salary. There is a placement cell who call the companies to the college.

Every thing is awesome. It depends on how much you connect yourself with the changes.

Placements: Because of the decline in the international markets, it is a little slow. But if given some time, then it's great. Everyone gets the placements given some time. FML, Synergy, NYK and many more companies do visit our campus with good packages. There are also scholarship programs for the students. There is also a placement cell comprising the faculty members and the students with a very well organised system to ensure that every candidate gets a fair opportunity to prove his potential. ...

Awesome place. Good food and infrastructure are the best for overall development.

Placements: After completion of pre-sea, I sailed with shipping corporation of India and then became the second mate in same company after possessing COC, and information science is the only government company in India. After doing your pre-sea training, getting selected for sea training is very important as you usually sail with that forever.

Read and judge. Placements at an all time low

Placements: The placement generally lies between 15-20 percent of the batch strength. The stipend offered for onboard training both for D.ns and B.Sc guys can be taken on average of 500 USD. Though I did D.ns (stretched programme of B.Sc nautical science) in the year 2011-12, I have completed my B.Sc now and have recieved my degree from Indian Maritime University. D.ns passed out cadets have to do 18 months(3 semesters) onboard training and B.Sc (3 years) passed out cadets have to do 12 months onboard train...

Placements: Around 30 out of 47 students got placed in our college. Our college helped us to get off-campus placements from private companies. If you are sponsored by any private company, then you have a good choice to join this college.
