IIFT Delhi MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIFT Delhi MBA is the flagship course of IIFT Delhi. The PG course is offered in two specialisations. The B-School also offers an MBA (IB) programme on the weekend mode for working executives. This programme runs over nine trimesters which is equal to three years. Candidates can refer to the following IIFT Delhi MBA infographic for more information:

IIFT Delhi MBA admission was based on the IIFT entrance exam conducted by the NTA on behalf of IIFT as of now. However, from 2024, the institute is admitting candidates based on CAT exam scores as well. For final selection, candidates applying for full-time courses have to go through written tests, essay write-ups and GDPI rounds as well.

Q: Does IIFT Delhi accept CAT scores?
From the 2024 admission year, IIFT Delhi will be accepting CAT scores for MBA (IB & BA) specialisations. Earlier the admission was through the IIFT exam. However, in an official notification, the institute has announced that will accept the national-level exam score now. After the conclusion of the entrance test, candidates shall be shortlisted for further selection rounds. Shortlisted candidates are further required to participate in the written test, group discussion and personal interview round. The final selection is done based on overall performance in the selection rounds.

Some documents have to be submitted during form filling. These documents are required for verification purposes. Some of the important documents are further enlisted below:
- Filled in CV Form
- Attested copy of all academic mark sheets/certificates (Class 10, 12 & Graduation)
- Copy of all Passport pages having official entries
- CAT scorecard
- Two letters of recommendation. Preferably, one of these should be written by a current supervisor or manager
- The Indian nationals who are living, working, or studying abroad should produce with the application a certificate from the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, stating that the candidate has been resident in that country continuously for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December of the admission year

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted on Nov 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on Jul 30, 2024. The announcement will be made at the iimcat.ac.in website as well as in all the national dailies across India. We at Shiksha also notify the aspirants through our communication channels. Registrations cum application process for CAT 2024 will begin from the first week of August and end in the third week of September 2024.

Yes, IIFT releases cutoff lists category-wise. The cutoff also varies for MBA-International Business and Business Analytics admission. For General category, the IIFT cut off is higher than that for Reserved category students. For example, IIFT 2022 cut off for General category candidates was 52.75 but for SC/ST candidates, it was 42.75. in 2023, the qualifying cut off was 35 percentile for General-EWS and NC-OBC categories, it is 35 percentile.
