The Indian Law Institute conducts the Common Admission Test (CAT) also known as ILI CAT for admissions to LLM courses. Therefore, the examination syllabus of ILI CAT is of graduate level. Candidates taking ILI CAT will be attempting question paper based on English and General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude and, Subjective Questions on Legal aspects. Moreover, there will be a viva voce of 20 marks for candidates who will qualify the entrance test. ILI CAT Preparation Strategy 2025
The candidates need to make a strategy for ILI CAT preparation as under:

- Know the key features of examination i.e. exam pattern and syllabus
- Get books and study material to clarify concepts
- Practice questions and mock test papers
- Revise the syllabus and, analyse preparation on a regular basis
