A good college with decent placements

Placements: Placements at IGDTUW are pretty decent. Almost all well-known companies visit the campus for hiring B.tech, M. Tech, and MCA students. The average salary as per my knowledge is somewhere around 4-5 lakhs INR. Some companies offer as high as 16 lakhs INR while mass recruiters stick to the usual 3.5 lakhs INR package. Internships offered are also amazing. Amazon, Microsoft, CERT-IN, etc. also offered paid internships.

Satisfactory placements, unsatisfactory infrastructure

Placements: Placements are good. For MCA, Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Blackstone, Fiko, TCS and Accenture visit and for BTech, the same companies come along with Linkedin, Intuit, Oracle, etc. The highest package offered was in B.Tech at 32 lakhs PA offered by Linkedin. All the students mostly get placed but in MCA, students are mostly placed in TCS and Accenture.

Good placements. Average faculty.

Placements: CSE/IT: High profile companies recruit meritorious and hardworking students. Companies visiting campus include Microsoft, Amazon, Intuit, TCS and many more. ECE: Below average placements in core field with TCS being the mass recruiter many times. MAE: Overall, the placement is good, being the best sometimes for female mechanical engineers. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, TVS, General Electrics, Mahindra, Flour Daniel etc. visit the campus.

A pretty good college in an excellent location.

Placements: Placements were good. Many good companies like Microsoft, Visa, Oracle, Amazon, TCS and Accenture came for placements. Almost 80% students got placed. The maximum package was almost 18 LPA and the minimum was 3 LPA. The roles offered were data analyst, SEO, etc. Internship opportunities from the college are limited, though some of the internal faculty members take the initiative to train students during summers.

Good for placements but not for higher education.

Placements: The college boasts of 100% placement, which is somewhat true. Placements in MAE, IT, CSE are good but ECE lags too much, though core companies visit our college (last year only 1 M.Tech student made it to core ECE company). Student development program has been organized from 2016 for ECE students to help us with our skills.

Everything in the college has been excellent may it be the faculty or the infrastructure.

Placements: The placement in our college for engineering students have been really excellent with top companies. The placement rate for them is 200% but because I am in the very first batch of architecture of this institute, therefore, the placement of architecture cannot be defined yet as we do not have any seniors and there has been no batch which has passed out yet, we being the first batch.

If you are getting this college, please join. Excellent placements.

Placements: The college offered very good placements and all were placed, there were 100 % placements and the average package was 7-8 lakhs. Some people even got 10-11 lakhs. Companies for all the branches visited the campus. I have heard that after it became a university, the placements are better than this.

Think twice don't go for brand value.

Placements: Placement of our batch was not so great as there was at least half the class was left unplaced. For B.Tech, the placements are okay. Once half of the college is placed, they won't make any effort to call companies and all. They'll show in their advertisement, how big companies visited the campus and offer letters were given but I know many cases, where students were denied a job later.

An amalgam of experiences.

Placements: The placement scenario, particularly for MCA varies every year, depending on the companies visiting the campus. Big names like Amazon, Cisco, Intel, SAP, Sabre, Thought Works, etc. visit the campus along with mass recruiters like TCS, IBM, and Accenture. Various other companies from all over the country also conduct their drives. The highest package offered is approx. 20-22 LPA, the lowest package is 3-3.25 LPA and the average package is 3-5 LPA. The only disadvantage is that, being B.Tech domin...

The college is close to the ISBT and the metro station of Kashmere Gate, hence the connectivity is good for the students. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good as it is the old campus of DC but renovation work is still in progress. Placement : The biggest merit of our college is the campus placement, my college has 100% placement and companies like Amazon, Snapdeal, Expedia, Adobe and Intuit come to our college. The crowd of our college is studious mostly. Hence th...

IGDTUW is a deemed University that was formerly known as Indraprastha University. College environment is super cool and enthusiastic. Faculty members are very cooperative and motivating. It is the first government women technical university on India. Here, I see women empowerment.

It is a good college. Being a girl’s college, it has some positive and negative aspects. The faculty is good except a few. Some of the teachers are really very approachable. The crowd is good. The college strongly discourages ragging. It has good placement facility. Since it has changed from IGIT to IGDTUW, its placements are increasing.

I am currently pursuing B.Tech in IT from IGDTU.I am in final year student. This is no doubt the best B.Tech College especially for women in Delhi and it has also become more famous after it is transformed into a university. The Campus is very nice and looks great. Crowd is present here in large numbers. Placements are consistently good over the past few years as big companies like Amazon, Adobe visit here and offer big bucks. Fees are also very manageable for middle class students. So it is a v...
