A brief information about IGNTU Amarkantak.

Placements: Only 10% students got placed in 2022 (from my batch) and rest pursued higher education and other competitive examinations. There are no such good placements here whereas some students placed in mass recruiter companies like tcs, Infosys etc. Median salary was around 2.40 LPA, the lowest salary was 1. 20 LPA and the highest salary was 5 LPA in 2022 BCA. Generally mass recruiter companies come in our college such as tcs, Infosys, Wipro etc. With very low packages. There is almost negligible students get internship here because of its location on hill area. In my batch 6% students got internship in 2022 in tcs.

Infrastructure: There is a Library available in our college including all kinds of books including new editions. Classrooms are good and clean with good furnitures and have smart classes, projectors and good staff. There is also facility of library. Food are generally not so good as there are no proper follow of hygiene. Hospital is available with basic medicine. Sports curriculum is good here with lot of games and big grounds.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields, theory are very helpful and kind. There teaching style is very good with their unique style. Course curriculum must be updated because there are only few things which are job oriented rest are useless. It does make student industry ready or job ready. There are regular exams which are not difficult but not easy too, but if someone has basic knowledge he/she can clear it with ease. Passing percentage of the examination are 89%. .

Other: The syllabus of B. CA must be improved towards practical side rather than completing theories and also include subjects needed for current scenario which can help to get jobs. There is an annual fest happens every year along with other small cultural fests. Campus crowd is good and infrastructure is very good and clean surrounding. The transport facilities available to reach here are very good it includes railways, buses and other mediums. There are many scholarships some are; 1 Scholarship for Tamilnadu UG/PG students. 2 TERRE centre public organisation organizes a fellowship programme. 3 National Scholarship scheme. 4. CG post metric scholarship. Etc. It is preparing students not only for study but also towards sports as it has all sports in curriculum and have different grounds for different sports. It also have a cultural society which encourage students towards literature and art too.
