    Pros:

    * Well-equipped laboratories and instrumentation facilities
    * Good classroom infrastructure and amenities
    * Availability of Wi-Fi and hostel facilities
    * Faculty members are well-qualified and supportive
    * Opportunities for internships and research projects
    * Beautiful campus surroundings

    Cons:

    Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.Sc. programs at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University?

    A:
    {Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

    Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Sc. Programs at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University

    Unfortunately, the placement cell does not exist specifically for B.Sc. programs at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University. According to the provided information:

    * "Our college doesn't provide placement opportunities for our department."
    * ".My department is closely linked to research work. It focuses to add students to project research works instead of placing them directly."

    This means that the university does not offer direct placements for B.Sc. programme students. Instead, they focus on preparing students for research projects. Therefore, we cannot assess the effectiveness of the placement cell for this particular program.

    However, it's essential to note that the university may still provide career guidance and counseling services to help students prepare for future endeavors, even though they don't offer direct placements.

    Really good infrastructure and faculty .
    Placements: A full batch of students contains almost 50-60 students for each course. In my course, mostly students opted for postgraduation, but some courses offer nice packages . My batch was for Bachelor of Science and I had botany, Zoology, Chemistry, etc. subjects in my graduation, which helped me choose my postgraduate subject .
    Infrastructure: There are almost all the facilities available on campus, including Wi-Fi in hostels and library. There is gym also in the hostels. The Department of Science is fully equipped with labs and all the things needed for experiments. Mess is good; there were 2-3 canteens available if you wanted to eat outside of mess too. Dispensary is available for medical facilities. There is sports complex for all the sports-related things .
    Faculty: Course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date, and professors are knowledgeable. Semester exams are timely conducted and good percentage of people pass. In my department, teachers were a little strict, but they really helped students. There were sometimes when Ph.D. scholars were teaching some portions of the syllabus in a semester. It was nice overall.
    Other: I chose this course because I was really interested in botany.

    Satisfied with the fees and really good infrastructures, but dissatisfied with the administration.
    Placements: Our university has below-average placements. Science and arts courses does not provide any placements. Even though professional students doing BBA and MBA get placements with an average 3–4 LPA,. About 80% of MBA and BBA (General and Tourism) students got placed last year.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided at the university. As a science student, I can say that the lab and instrumentation facilities here are very good. Classrooms are good. We have a good library but the timing for the library and reading room is only up to 6:00 p.m. Hostel facilities are good, but the quality of the food is not really good in the mess. There is a discrepancy and an ambulance for the university. Gyms, indoor and outdoor courts, and ground facilities are available.
    Faculty: Teachers in the department of chemistry are well qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the professors are IITians and have Ph.D.s from India and abroad. The department is providing UG and PG courses in chemistry. The UG course is as per NEP 2020, which gives an opportunity for a 4-year years program including an internship, which helps to get familiar with instrumentation and industry. Pass percentage is 40%, and semester exams are not very difficult.

    Review of Department of Chemistry IGNTU .
    Placements: Generally, placements are not provided by my department; my department majorly focuses on lab and research work on man projects, such as some sponsored by DBT FIST. Placements are generally provided in the department of vocational and management courses.
    Infrastructure: There are a total of 5 hostels in the university, of which 3 are for boys, including 1 for Ph.D. scholars, and 2 are for girls. Each room has three students, and each is provided with one table, one chair, and one cupboard. Hostel fees are INR 3250 per year, in which caution money of Rs. 500 is included.
    Faculty: The faculty in my department is well qualified, and all are Ph.D. majors and have done their postdocs abroad. The programme lasts three years and six semesters. Each semester is 6 months long, and exams are held at the end of each semester. The department has various labs for research work.
    Other: Everything is almost good here. A major attraction is campus life and the nature around here.
