Good and supportive faculty, especially for the computer department

Placements: Placements were quite good especially for computer department, but the pay scale was disappointing as the average salary offered was 2-5 lakhs per annum. Reputed companies visited such as TCS, Einfochips, Gateway and Eclinics are some that I remember but much more were there. Some placements are combined with other colleges too. Roles were okay and most of them were technical assistant and software engineer. The average stipend offered was around 5-10,000 per month, As for my batch, most of them...

A highly qualified institute

Placements: One of the best institutes for placements overall for our metallurgical engineering branch. The starting package is from 2.5 lacs and much more based on placement company package. Moreover, other than placements, it also provides a training/internship in different industries during the engineering duration or between two semesters. Around 70% students were placed from our senior batch. 18,000 to 22,000 was the average salary offered monthly. Essar Still, RBD Engineering, TCR, and so many compani...

Knows to produce but fails to sell. Good teaching but the placement cell isn't working.

Placements: My seniors were the first pass out batch after being a deemed university. Only 15% of the people were placed. 3 lacs was the highest pay and 1.5 lacs was the lowest. The companies varied from being an automotive dealership, BPOs, manufacturing, educational sectors where in they offered roles in marketing and sales, designing, etc. There weren't any sort of paid internships offered and those who sought to go for one were also not supported by denying the attendance. The major concern of the very ...

Great infrastructure and student-friendly but don't expect a great future ahead.

Placements: Placements do arrive for final year students. Mostly for computer, IT branches. A girl last year got 7.5 lakhs from computer branch. TCS and Electrotherm were amongst them, though the number of students placed was on the lower side. Around 6-7% of the students got placements mostly from computers and IT, while mechanical, civil and automobile were branches with the least offerings of placements.

Pros and cons of joining this university.

Placements: Placements are quite average. A few companies came to recruit, no doubt the placement team worked their level best for all the students. Around 10 percent got placed as many wanted to do further studies. Regarding internships, we had to search the companies by ourselves but for the students who could not search, there were arrangements for them too.

One of the best college in Ahmedabad for good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placement in core field was not much except 1 or 2 companies, only sales and executives types of jobs were much. In core sector companies, two classmates of our batch were placed in one MNC whose placement drive was too in another college. They were given a package of around 2.2 lacs p.a. They were recruited as a graduate engineer trainee. Overall the placement was not up to the mark.

Indus University Ahmedabad review.

Placements: The placements are average, not very good. The college is not keen on getting the students placed neither very good companies come here. Having said that, every student who wishes to have a job gets one, thanks to the ever demanding tech field and startups. However, those are not very lucrative to begin with.

Indus University- where practice meets theory.

Placements: The placement provided by the college is excellent for the students of electrical and mechanical engineering. Many companies visit the college but it does not provide placement to the civil engineering students. The training and placement cell is not active enough to provide guidance to the students.

Indus University: Where theory meets practical.

Placements: The branch has been established in 2012 and we are the first passed out batch of it. The placement cell gave their efforts to get all the students placed. 30% of the students got the campus placement and a few had got a job through through their own efforts. But, most of the students were inclined towards pursuing Master's(MBA/M.Tech/MS).
