Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

J. C. Bose university Faridabad Review.
Placements: This university is good for placements; most students get placed. Courses like mechanical and electrical have up to 96% placements, and the average package after degree is also good compared to other government universities. And many MNCs also come at placements, and the average package of computer engineering is 600000 pa.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel for boys, only available for girls. Feels is 90000 for girls hostel. Most students live in PGs and flats behind the university sector. And the student's home should also be at least 100 km from the university to be eligible for a hostel.
Faculty: Overall, teachers and staff are okay, but there are unnecessary subjects in each semester, and there is a lack of some teachers of certain subjects. Exams are of good level, and checking depends on teachers; most of teachers do hard marking, and compartment exams are very common because of that.

Why not to choose J. C. BOSE UST, Faridabad, Haryana!
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed. The highest package was around 12 LPA, the lowest was around 4 LPA, and the average offer was around 5.5 LPA. Mass recruiters like TCS and Wipro play a major role in on-campus placements. Most students, however, choose to go into the software side of working. VLSI engineer, SD, testing engineer, etc., were some of the roles offered to our course students. About 50% of students got internships, and most got them from off-campus online internships.
Infrastructure: Being the topmost state university, students expect the college to have a good infrastructure; however, the same is not realized in the field. Most of the equipment in the laboratories is malfunctioning, and the staff is not serious about it too. Wi-Fi is available, but the internet speed is too slow compared to our own mobile data, so it seems useless. Boys Hostel is not available, and Girls Hostel is in average condition. The mess food is bad, eatable, but can cause infections in people with very weak metabolism. Medical facilities are good, as far as we ever need. Sports are not good.
Faculty: The faculty for electronics and electrical is some of the worst in all courses. The professors straight up have a bad aura, and they behave in the most irritating way possible. They pretend to care for your studies, but in the end, they just sometimes fail you because of personal issues.
Other: The college has had a good reputation since it was built, but with time it has lost its worth. Not only are the facilities not proper, like broken and falling ceilings or contaminated water purifiers. The canteen serves the most average food possible. The crowd is much more indulged in politics rather than studying, and the possibility of finding a good friends group that helps you grow is low. No fests sre conducted.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, bad placement, bad infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 10 percent of the students were placed in local companies. The highest package is 5 LPA, the average is 2 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Top companies are not coming to college. The college and any company have not offered any internships at this college. The top roles offered are software engineer and web developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities of this college are average; no special facilities are provided by the college. Hostels are available at this college, AC or non-AC. The quality of food is not good and other facilities are below average. The mess is very bad. The canteen is not available at this college.
Faculty: Teachers are average. Teaching quality is below average. The semester exams are very difficult. Students qualifying for the semester exam are 10 percent. The course curriculum is not relevant, and students are not ready for industry-level. Labs are not good for skills learning.
Other: If you are a self-learner, you will achieve your dream job. Scholarships are available for SC and ST students.

I am satisfied by my college, good placement, infrastructure was good, everything was fine there.
Placements: 20 percent good companies were there to hire the students and the interview was also quite tough. The highest was 8 Lacs, minimum was 4 Lacs. ABP, News18, India TV, etc. are the top recruiters. Advertisement, broadcasting, journalism, anchor, newspapers, and printing press are the top roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities were too good in Haryana. It was the biggest studio we got for learning. The techniques, machines, and information were fully provided. In sports, every type of club was there to join. NCC was also there in our college and classrooms are big.
Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified, mostly teachers have done Ph.D. and they were very knowledgeable and helpful to provide the information. Yes, this course is industry-ready, it has very good scope and jobs. The semester exams were quite tough but overall it was a good experience. The pass percentage was 40.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have seen good scope in this and good career opportunities and some of my friends guided me about it. In YMCA, extracurricular activities were there, mostly clubs were there and Radio Drishya, many clubs.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college faculty, labs, and placements.
Placements: This year, only 11 companies came for placement, and all the companies were only for sales. All companies came from Palwal and Faridabad; no one came from Delhi, Gurugram, or any software company. The highest package is around 2.5 to 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am a student of B.Tech CSE, and in the lab, most of the computers are outdated. Even these software don't support VS Code, and some computers are not working properly. Even after repeated complaints to the faculty, there is no response. The college provides full Wi-Fi across the campus, but you can only use 25 MB per day if you are lucky. About the library, only older-generation books are available.
Faculty: No teacher is helpful, even my project teacher doesn't know about frontend. Semester exams are not hard, but you will have to study them only from YouTube. If you think this college will make you industry-ready, it won’t. You will have to work on your skills yourself. If you rely on this college, you will never be able to get a good position because neither the faculty is good nor the companies come here.
Other: Scholarships are available in the college, but events don’t happen very fast. Even extracurricular activities in college happen only when someone is doing them with full force. Most of the time, they don't happen. The college focuses mostly on the fines and how to get the best out of the students. I am doing an internship in my 2nd year, and I gave an application for it. Our teacher who had departed from CBE said I should not do the internship and mark attendance in college. Despite talking a lot, they forced me to give a fine, and if I didn’t give a fine, I would not be allowed to sit in my external practicals. I was forced to.

It is an okay college and the location is good for correspondence courses.
Placements: A very low percentile of students from our course get placements that are too far from here in Gurgaon or such so some opt not to go. The highest package is 5 lacs, and the lowest is 3 lacs. Internships are offered to about 60% of the students. HR is the most common role offered .
Infrastructure: On average, every necessary thing is present, from labs to seminar halls and canteens but again, everything, including the library, is very average. The medical facilities are also okay; they offer to take you to the nearest Amrita hospital but you are not given attendance when something like this happens. Sports like basketball, football, badminton and sports rooms are present, including carrom, table tennis and more. It is also sufficient—nothing special.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are qualified; they are also very experienced and kind. Some are because they know how hard college life is. Yes, most of the course curriculum is relevant, about 70–75%. It includes courses like Advanced Excel, which somehow makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are provided by the university so it is pretty tough and definitely not easy. The passing percentage is 35/100, which is very low but some people still fail because, again, the exams are not easy.
Other: I chose this course because it is easier than the rest. It teaches me more in depth about business. Improvement should revolve around practical knowledge, not bookish knowledge. Events are also average tents placed in the ground near the stage. Crowding is also okay, not bad, in my opinion. Fest was horrible this year but last year was okay.
