Good infrastructure but underutilised.

Placements: The placement % was pretty low in 2015. Only IT and computer science students' placement % were above 60%. For core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical etc, the placement percentage was below 30%. The highest package offered was 12 lakhs by Adobe and the average package was 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Jai Narayan Vyas University Jodhpur review.

Placements: The university has less placements for the B.Com. course. Some students do get directly approached by the local CA for the job. Although placements are not much, some companies like HDFC, ITC, Hindustan Unilever and private accounting firms visited the campus. The salary offered was around 15000 while some students were offered 21000. Overall, 3 or 4 students got internship cum job offers.

Every college has its own setback as well it also has some. But overall, it is a decent college.

Placements: At least 70% of the students got placed in 2014 batch and in the previous year, placement was 65%. MNCs like Infosys, Mphasis, Capgemini and IBM came this year to pick deserving candidates. Average annual salary offered by these companies was 2 lakhs. Those students who did not get placed were given another chance by the college to apply for jobs off campus.

Decent placements and superb knowledge among faculty members. A bit on the off, for infrastructure.

Placements: The percentage is a decent one when it comes to placements of the college. Around 40% students managed to be placed at various good companies like Adobe, Honda, Vedanta, HZL, Adani, Tata, Cairn India, TCS, Metacube, ACC Cement, Hafele, JK Cement, Horizon Infotech and many more companies. Mining, computer science and chemical students usually crack a good package of around Rs. 10-12 lacs PA making the average to reach around Rs. 4-5 lacs PA. The college has a great reputation being the oldest tec...

Kind of okayish. Could be better if it improves on infrastructure.

Placements: There is no placement cell as at least for B. Com students. Everyone has to look up for their jobs on their own. Since I'm opting for post graduation, can't say what salary I would get, but yes my friends have got poor to decent placements based on their own abilities. Overall one should not expect anything regarding placements from here.

Placements: In my senior batch of 2016, 14 students were placed in the core companies out of the 88 students of that batch. It is one of the oldest college of our country, even older than IIT-Roorkee. In older times, it is counted in most prestigious institutes of India. But presently, it is not in the same condition. Infrastructure can be good but due to less maintenance it is not up to the mark. There is lack of faculty in our college. There are some positive points too regarding this college. You can really give wings to your hobbies and interest here. Yes, you have enough time to do whatever you likes to do.

A very good university if you really want to study seriously. Of course some might also it’s a good university if you don’t want to study but it’s all up to you. Faculty is quite experienced and best in the city. But they will teach you interestingly if you are serious for study. College life is not that good if I compare to other colleges. (Don’t even try to compare the college life which you might have seen in movie.) Environment is okay type. Ragging is strictly banned. You may find crowd fro...

It’s a good college although infrastructure is very bad. The teachers don't come on time but still it is one of the good colleges in Jodhpur. So this is the only thing about my college. Here students are also from villages so there can be very less interaction between you and them.

It is not a good college to study in.

Placements: Around 40% of students got placements in our college. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiting company was Genpact. Around 50% of students got internships in this course. I got placed as a tax assistant.

Placements: I think around who can score more then 95% they students are eligible to placement on the other hand all my classmates did not get any kind of placement from this college. I do not saw any kind of company that come to this college in my college life but students say company comes but I don't think so.

If you really want to have a valuable degree, then you should come to this college.

Placements: Placement at this college is not so good. It only allows you to get a particular degree for the course you are pursuing. It's not a college for getting a placement. It's a good college for any course but not for placement. If you are willing to have a placement after your course, then it's not the right college.

Placements: Most of the students are placed in Case Branch. The highest package was 32 Lacs, the lowest package was 7 Lacs and the average package was almost 7 Lacs per annum. And here, the major recruitment companies are Wipro, Intel and Google. Also, 23 students are selected for internships in Wipro.

This university had not made me fully satisfied.

Placements: JNVU is a university that does not value students to inspire students for further study because there is no extra activity and there is no scope after completing graduation from this university. There is no routine of classes and day-to-day lectures.

Placements: Around 60% of students were placed. The highest package is around Rs 18 lakh, and the lowest package is Rs 4 lakh. Airtel, Wonder Cement, Adani Group, L & T, Pie Infosolution, Sigma Infosolution, etc. are the top recruiting companies. Generally, electronic, some parts of electrical, and IT parts are covered in our course.
