Jamia Hamdard University is one of the best university for the medical students.
Placements: 22% of students in my course were placed. The highest package offered in our college placement is 15 lakhs per annum. There are lots of companies that come for hiring, such as Amazon, Mahindra Tech, Accenture, and many more. In our college, almost 70% of students get internships in good companies.
Infrastructure: In our department, lots of facilities are available, like labs, Wi-Fi, a library, sports facilities, and many more. The hostels are very good. In our college, hostel facilities are very good, including the environment of the hostel. Medical facilities are always available for the students.
Faculty: Teachers clear your every doubt, and they have much experience. Semesters are not too difficult if you concentrate well. In our college, the passing percentage is 40% for the management department students, and we can easily clear our exams.
Other: I chose BBA because I want to become a businessman and improve my communication skills.

The faculty is supportive, but for the hostel, there is a big no.
Placements: A batch consists of 50 students based on their NEET. Around 50 students got posted for internships for 2 years of the course to gain experience. They got posted in the rehabilitation center. After the completion of the course, 6 months of internships are provided.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are pretty spacious. The infrastructure is different department-wise. Students are provided with their own IDs to excess Wi-Fi. Students have free access to rehabilitation centers for their bone-aching problems. The campus provides many opportunities to participate in cricket. In district-level competitions, once you are a part of the team, you can join NCC as well.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The department gives us many opportunities such as workshops to improve our clinical skills. It provides valuable information. Our teachers have their clinics where students can practice and gain experience. For every participation in workshops and conferences, we are provided with certificates that help in building our resumes.
Other: Campus life is pretty good.

Discontinued (Apr 2024)-Integrated B.Sc.- M.Sc. in Toxicology - Batch of 2024
2.6
2Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
I am dissatisfied due to the limited faculty and frequent cancellation of classes.
Placements: At the graduation level, there's no direct placement. Students who are passionate about research gain excellent experience in wet labs. Each year, 2-3 M.Sc. students secure placements. Students have the opportunity to pursue internships with stipends ranging from 20,000 to 25,000 INR per month.
Infrastructure: The department includes a library where students can issue books apart from the central library. There is an animal house that provides students with hands-on skills in animal handling. The Department of Medical Elementology and Toxicology also has a specialized fly lab. There is a sports complex where students can practice. There are two lecture theatres assigned for undergraduate students.
Faculty: The department has a limited number of faculty members, and classes are often not held as scheduled, with cancellations occurring frequently. The curriculum is relevant, especially for students interested in fields such as pharmaceuticals and pharmacogenomics, but it does not fully prepare students for industry requirements. Students need to develop additional skills to meet industry standards.
Other: I chose toxicology because the field intrigued me, sparking a curiosity to learn more. The best aspect of this is the six-month dissertation offered to undergraduate students.

Reality of my college.
Placements: Less than 50 percent of students are placed. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest package is 8 LPA. Deloitte, Big O Notation, etc., are the companies. No internships from the college. Haha, no roles actually. Most of my friends and classmates are doing MBA further or going for further education because the Bachelor's was useless.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi works often, sometimes not. Labs are newly built, so they are fine, but the ACs are broken. The library is fine. It is the only place where you can spend time during the day. Classrooms don't have AC and are not so good. Canteen food is fine but a bit costly. All other facilities are okay too.
Faculty: The curriculum and exams are good as the curriculum is addictive and informative. Exams take place on time, and their difficulty level is medium. Coming to teachers and their knowledge, well, not really good. Some are perfectly fine, but some of them are just there to deliver lectures.

Enter Jamia Hamdard only for medical courses.
Placements: Placement is really pathetic. We got very few job notifications, and those were for sales only. I don't know why they sent the notifications only a day before, and by a day, it's not even 24 hours. The jobs were only at very small, unknown startups.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was average. Classes didn't have AC. Labs were bad, as the systems were outdated, and some of them needed repair. The teachers conducted very few practical classes. The library was also just average. I was not a hosteller, but the service there was also just fine, not very good or exactly bad.
Faculty: The curriculum was okay, but the teaching method was very bad, as the faculty only provided knowledge in classes and not practical implementation in labs. Though the teachers were qualified, and most of them were PhDs, they just came to class to read the PowerPoint presentations. The course was new and good, as AI and ML are in trend. Exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Python. The course covers all the necessary subjects for its being. The teaching method should definitely be better or be improved. There were events and fests, but I was not interested in them, so I didn't attend them. The campus crowd is also just okay, but sometimes local people do enter and create chaos. Connectivity is a bit difficult, as the metro is far, and then you have to use public transport. The campus is surrounded by the pathetic areas of Sangam Vihar and Tughlakabad.

College tour for upcoming students pf Jamia Hamdard University .
Placements: Placements were very low as compared to other colleges. Even toppers also didn't find good jobs here. Most medical representative jobs are available; for a job role, you must have a master's degree; otherwise, there are no good jobs available; the highest package can be 4 LPA, and the lowest package can be 2 LPA. Mostly not-top companies come here, like Cipla and Sun Pharma.
Infrastructure: Here you will get good infrastructure for the lab and other classes, although there is running renovation in the building. Wi-Fi is also available, but not everywhere. Some classes have air conditioning, while others are without. Though hostels have everything AC, lunch, dinner, and bed-sharing rooms available.
Faculty: Teachers were very skilled, and they will be helpful in your career; they were mostly research organization skills teachers. Here we don't get to find any practice for industrial or hospital; the semester exam is not too tough, while mostly students passed. Here, students are not eligible for industrial training or hospital training because the syllabus is not that type.
Other: After not getting a seat in medical college, I found to go to a private university for pharmacy. The best thing you can do is go for a research orientation program in a higher degree. In our syllabus, we mostly should improve for hospital and industrial training. Event and crowd were good enough to survive here.
