Jamia: The dream of every student.
Placements: I don't know exactly about the placement in the college, but I heard that some students in the pass-out batch got placements. The placement for B.Com is less compared to other courses, so only a few get placed in a year, but the faculties are very helpful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the commerce building is good, but it's not too good; it's average. There are computer labs and facilities for praying and other worships. There are many plants and greenery inside the department, but the only problem is that the fans inside the classrooms do not work properly. The library and reading hall are very good and helpful; it is fully air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good and very helpful, but some teachers only teach in Hindi. I don't know much Hindi, which makes it a bit troublesome for me. However, some teachers are very good and make us interested in the class. Overall, the teaching quality is good, but there are some language problems.
Other: I chose this course because I like commerce; I am not interested in science, engineering, humanities, or anything else. I wish to have more practical classes in business subjects in B.Com. There are many events in college conducted by clubs and departments. The campus surroundings are very beautiful and vibrant. Sitting in the canteen in the evening is very attractive and makes you enjoy the university.

Understanding my dream College Jamia Millia Islamia.
Placements: Being in my first year, I don't know much about placements, but according to my seniors, it is not as good as that of B.Tech and technical courses, but if you plan to do a Master's or higher level of study in this particular field (Accountancy, Business Administration Economics), then it can provide you a good career in both private and public sectors. However, the placement records in our college are improving as after analyzing last year's placement statistics many of prestigious companies (Kotak Mahindra Bank, Samsung, general insurance limited, etc. ). visited the campus and hire the final year students with some handsome package of more than INR 3 LPA. The University has its placement cells that actively work towards providing opportunities and skill enhancement sessions to students.
Infrastructure: Our department (Commerce and business studies) has its computer lab, but classes are combined with BBA and economic students in the same building. Infrastructure is awesome comprising modern edge with old-style buildings. The University library is an asset for every member of this great university. Since students come from different cities and states for different courses, hostels are there. The facilities in hostels are just satisfying as per the fees structure (5000er ANM rent and other charges + 2200 mess charges per month). When it comes to sports and games, Our university topped the list since it has its dedicated stadium and sports court (Pataudi sports complex) that holds University as well as in college tournaments. Medical facilities are provided free of cost to students adjust remarkably.
Faculty: Our faculty professors are well qualified and their teachings are more practical and friendly to us. They solve our queries without any ill response. Most of the professors are Ph.D. scholars in their related fields. Our curriculum has 7 subjects in which Urdu is mandatory in our first year. Then we have cultural subjects (Islamic studies and Indian religious studies), then comes our core subjects so basically curriculum structure is interesting as it begins with our ethnic and cultural heritage to our professional subjects.
Other: I have chosen this subject because I always have a keen interest in accountancy, economics, and commerce and always wanted to know how commercial activities shape the world. Apart from this, the most interesting subject in my course is that it covers other aspects like public policy, skill enhancement, and life skills. Things like more practical visits to industry, collaboration with major companies, and International colleges add more value to this particular field. Our department organizes annual fests which are restricted now amid of Covid19 Pandemic. The whole campus has a Wi-Fi facility. There are numerous scholarships available (like AAJMI, Jamia teacher association scholarship, etc. ). Campus Life is more diverse with different nationalities and ideologies and thoughts.
