The GATE 2025 registration process with late fee is closed now for admission to the MTech course. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
The GPAT registration window 2025 for admission to the MPharma course will be opened in Apr 2025.
AP EAMCET application forms 2025 for admission to the BTech course will be released tentatively in Mar 2025.

JNTUK Admission Process 2024

JNTU Kakinada admission 2024 will open soon. The admissions are based on national-level entrance tests or merit basis. JNTUK offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level programmes, such as BTech, BPharma, BArch, PharmD, MTech, MPharma, MCA, MBA, MAM, and PhD under various disciplines. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada offers UG and PG courses via its schools and affiliated colleges/ campus. The university mainly accepts EAMCET (Engg, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test) for admission. However, national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, AP PGECET, etc., for admission to its UG and PG courses.

JNTUK Admission 2024: Eligibility and Selection

JNTU Kakinada offers entrance exam-based admission to several courses. JNTUK Admission Process

Candidates willing to study at JNTUK must complete the admission procedure as per the University's admission guidelines. It involves an application process, shortlisting of students, the release of merit list, counselling, and seat allotment. Below are the details of each stage of the admission process:
Step 1: JNTUK Application Process 2024
To take admission to the courses offered at JNTUH, candidates are required to visit the official website of the respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies. They need to fill out the application form in online mode.

BTech/ BPharm aspiring candidates can apply for the programme on the official website of TS EAMCET.
For the MTech/ MSc programme, the candidates are required to register on the official website of TS PGECET.
For the MBA program, candidates must register on the official website of AP ICET or TSCIET.

For the remaining programme candidates are required to apply directly from the official website of JNTUK.

Step 2: JNTUK Shortlisting of Students & Release of Merit List

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) shortlists candidates based on their scores in the respective accepted entrance exams, such as TS EAMCET, GATE, GPAT, etc. The state-level exam conducting bodies, such as TS ICET, release course-wise merit lists for MBA and MCA courses, whereas the university itself releases a merit list for courses based on merit or national-level exams.

Step 3: JNTUK Counselling

Once the merit list is released, eligible students are invited for counseling rounds. For MBA and MCA courses, the counseling is overseen by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), which is known as the TS ICET Counseling. Similarly, for admission to the BTech program, the TS EAMCET Counseling is held. And for MTech PGECET counseling is required.

Step 4: JNTUK Seat Allotment & Admission Confirmation

As per the round of counselling, seats are allotted to the eligible students. Further, the selected students can confirm their admission by paying the course fees.

Placements: In our college, placements are very good. Many students got placed. The highest package offered was 44 LPA; the minimum package is 4–5 LPA. We have various CRT (campus requirement training) classes for students.

Faculty: The teachers are amazing; they teach us very well. My course is EEE, but the faculty members teach us all the software-related classes as well. However, the exam pattern is very weird and a burden. The passing mark is 21 for a 60-mark exam.

Other: Events are done rarely but one is that they do them amazingly.

Absolutely disappoint and dissatisfied this year because of IT companies recession.

Placements: Actually this recession is going on. So placements are decreased in my college compare to last year. 20 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 22 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA and average is 4.5 LPA. Accenture and tata are top recruiting companies. I think not no one got internships in my course. No top roles were offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in all categories like course wise and hostel wise. Labs are not up to mark, Wi-Fi is enough to use in labs, library is not too good. The quality is food my hostel is good enough and no medical facilities and gym is available.

Faculty: Around 5 to 8 percent faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is below average and dissatisfied with their teaching skills. No, it makes the students industry ready. The difficult of semester exams in my college is medium range. 28 out of 70 is the pass mark.

Placements: The percentage of students who were placed in our course is 70%. The average package offered in our course is between 4 and 11 LPA. The top recruiting company in our course is IBM Amazon. The percentage of students who got internships from our course is 60%. Roles offered by IEEE.

Infrastructure: Satisfied hostel. Very strict rules, no medical facilities, no library permission, poor quality of food. No sports or games. Students are forced to study. Basically, I am a scholar student. But my friends who were in the hostel complained more about it.

Faculty: No teachers were helpful, but all faculty are qualified. Average teaching quality. I don't think so, but some of the students reach the industry. Semester exams are very difficult. Pass percentage is 80%. Most of the faculty are knowledgeable and technical.
