Great infrastructure and course curriculum but average placements.

Faculty: Faculty members of our branch are really good and qualified. Most of them have completed their Ph.D. The communication between teachers and students is very good. The course they teach us in CSE is up-to-date. There are coding clubs and seminars happening every month to make sure students are industry-ready.

JIS UNIVERSITY : A candid look at challenges and shortcoming.

Faculty: The experience with the faculty members in JIS UNIVERSITY is truly hit or miss. A better way to put it would be that most teachers are friendly and will try to help you overall but are prone to favouritism. Thus it creates this muddy situation where if u know a particular teacher, the Probability of you getting more attention or falling into a negative predicament is highly increased. For example if you are able to build a stellar image of yourself in front of the teachers they will overlook mos...

My personal experience in JIS University.

Faculty: Semester exams are easy as long as you prepare well and do not do last-minute preparation, but yes, teachers provide important notes for exams, so it shouldn't be worrisome. For teachers, I would say some are good, while some are really dismissive and arrogant. I would not say that students could be industry-ready after completing this course.

Everything you need to know about JIS University.

Faculty: The teachers here are very knowledgeable; the maximum of them are Ph.D. holders. The course is very much relevant, from practical to theory to subject combination; everything makes us industry-related, and seminars teach us application-based things. The college exams are not much tough, as the teachers help us to get away with exams. We have to score a minimum of 37 marks on 100 in each subject to pass the semester.

It is the best college in town in terms of faculty and placements.

Faculty: Professors are qualified, helpful, and cover the syllabus before exams. They offer suggestions beforehand. The course curriculum is up-to-date. Students receive industrial exposure. Field trips are organized to provide real-world experience. Semester exams are challenging, although the questions are standard. The pass rate is 30%.

My JIS University: my second home.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great, and the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The university even takes the initiative to organize industrial visits. Exams are easy to pass, with a 95% pass rate.

The best college for MBA courses.

Faculty: All teachers are well educated and hold Ph.D. degrees from leading IITs and NITs. Their knowledge is excellent, and their study plan and notes are quite beneficial to us. Our college offers two sorts of exams: midterm and end of semester. The exam method is pretty good.

Amazing college with good infrastructure and facilities but no placement at all.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and they have qualifications like a PHD, the highest qualification to enter any college. This course doesn't make any student industry ready at all. The semester exams are very easy to pass.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: The teaching quality is average, but the semester exams are very tough, with a pass percentage of only 60%. The pharmacy course provides a great deal of knowledge about medicines, their application in the human body, and the process of formulating and marketing them. After completing the course, students are awarded a license to operate a pharmacy.

The facilities offered by the college are very good, and the cost is bearable.

Faculty: The teachers here are very qualified and helpful with any problems that students face in the curriculum. The classes are conducted well, and practical classes are held regularly. The course curriculum is very relevant to the course being pursued.

My second home: my college .

Faculty: Our teachers are highly educated and very frank. Most of them completed their education at IIT and NIT. They are very supportive. The course curriculum is really effective because it helps students deal with industrial careers. Semester examinations are not too tough. If someone maintains regularity and does the classes sincerely, then no one can stop them from securing a good percentage. If students can manage at least 50 percent marks in their semester, then they are qualified for the next sem...

Good infrastructure, helpful teachers and seniors, improving curriculum and placements.

Faculty: The teachers are actually helpful. Some of the teachers have very good teaching quality but not everyone. The course curriculum will show everything you need for jobs but we all know that we have to prepare ourselves to be industry-ready. The university has a group discussion session, which helps students be fluent and confident. If you attend classes and take notes properly with a bit of hard work during the semester, then it will not be a big deal to pass the exams. Above 80% of students pass.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty members and placement culture.

Faculty: Very few teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Most professors are rude, lack understanding of students' issues and often exert unnecessary pressure. Their teaching fails to adequately prepare students for the demands of the industry. Few teachers are good.

At JIS University, the eligibility criteria generally require candidates to have Maths in 12th but since you have Geography as a core subject, chances are that you are going to be eligible. That is because some institutes recognize Geography as a related subject for Geoinformatics.
