JNTUH Placement Overview

According to JNTUH NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during JNTUH BTech and MTech placements 2023 stood at INR 6.25 LPA and INR 8 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 1100 students were placed out of 1220 students during BTech placements 2023 whereas 600 students out of 720 students were placed during MTech placements 2023.

Earlier, according to the data available in the official website, the highest and lowest package offered during Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad BTech placements 2022 stood at INR 44 LPA and INR 3.5 LPA, respectively. The highest package offered during JNTUH Integrated BTech and MTech Dual Degree placements 2022 stood at INR 46 LPA. Further, the highest package offered during JNTUH MTech and MCA placements 2022 stood at INR 10.5 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively. Earlier, the overall average package offered during JNTU Hyderabad placements 2021 was INR 6.3 LPA. The top recruiters of JNTUH placements 2022 included leading companies such as CERD, Amazon and Google. Apart from this, according to JNTUH Engineering NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during JNTUH BTech and MTech placements 2022 stood at INR 5.5 LPA.

Placements: Our college provides excellent opportunities for skilled students. More than 40 companies visit this college for recruiting freshers. The placement cell of this college helps students throughout the recruitment process. Top companies visiting our college are Infosys, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Wipro, etc. Around 90% of students got placed in the previous batch. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure. It has modern furniture in classrooms. Classrooms are digitalized using smart teaching boards. Classrooms have a table internet connectivity using Wi-Fi. Each department has its labs and equipped with good condition computers and other equipment. There is a central library available in this college with more than 20,000 volumes of books. There are hostels available on campus. There are separate hostels for both girls and boys. Hostels are maintained very clean and hygienic. Hostel provides good food. The menu differs from day to day and special menu for special occasions.

Faculty: The college provides highly qualified and experienced faculty members. The quality of education is okay and can be improved. The course curriculum is relevant and helps us strengthen our skills. This curriculum makes us industry fit and helps students to gain industry exposure at this college level itself. Mainly the projects made by us are done with the help of a professor who acts as a project guide. It helps us learn real-time tools.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs facilities are available. Classrooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Labs are also maintained well. Infrastructure is good. We can then enjoy the nature-type place. Hostels are maintained very well. Warden is receiving students well. We can be satisfied with the infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty are very friendly to students. Their teaching is absolutely fine. Around 80% of students pass the semester exams. Faculty members teach the subjects in a friendly manner and very easy to understand the subject. Faculty members help us whenever we need them.

Satisfied with the good placements.

Placements: Placement is quite good, with about 80% of students placed. The highest package offered by Google is 40 LPA, the average package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is about 2 LPA. Almost 30% of students get internships with top multinational companies. J.P. Morgan hires a higher number of students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. But the food is quite disappointing. The hostel is 1 kilometer away from the college. A bus facility is available. Wi-Fi is available in hostel rooms, but it is not up to speed. Wi-Fi is not available on campus. The mess at the college is the worst. Power backup is not up to the mark.

Faculty: Exams are conducted very strictly. A correction is not good. Most of the faculty is good and well-experienced. Mentors are allotted for every student in the college. Mentors will review the students' academics. Parents' meetings are held every semester after exams.

Other: I am interested in electronics. My course has good campus placement in college.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure and facilities are very good and well-maintained. Hostels are provided for both girls and boys. Facilities like classrooms, library, canteen, mess, sports room, and Wi-Fi are available for students.

Faculty: Course curriculum is updated regularly in this college. Teachers are good and some teachers are not good. Semester exams are very hard and we can pass by reading PDFs. YouTube classes are also conducted during the exams. The pass percentage is 60%.

Dissatisfaction arises from the faculty, despite excellent infrastructure, and a limited placements.

Placements: 50 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest, average, and lowest salaries offered were 6 lakhs, 5 lakhs, and 4 lakhs respectively. TCS, Wipro, and Accenture are the top recruiting companies. Fifty percent of students secured internships, and roles such as cybersecurity engineer, software developer, and software tester were offered.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library, are available for our course. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good. The quality of food in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games is satisfactory.

Faculty: The teachers are not very helpful, qualified, or knowledgeable. The teaching quality is poor, and the course curriculum is not relevant, failing to make students industry-ready. The semester exams are not too challenging, with a pass percentage exceeding 70 percent.
