Excellent infrastructure and good faculty, but I'm dissatisfied with the lack of placements.
Placements: There are no placements provided in this university. Neither our batch nor our senior batch students got placed. Not even 1% of the students amongst the whole batch was placed. No company visited the campus for placements. Internships were not offered to anyone. There is no placement cell in the college. It is the drawback of the university.
Infrastructure: Many facilities like good classrooms, an excellent library and healthcare centre are provided in the college. Quality of food available in the canteen is good. Hostel rooms are good enough to spend a year or two. Nobody has faced any issue related to infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable, but as far as I have come across the faculty members of my department, they are not helpful at all. Students were not provided with industry exposure at all. Teaching quality is good. However, the student to faculty ratio was 150:1.
Other: There were no events or extracurricular activities in the college. But, the campus is very good. Scholarships were not provided.

The best university for academic programme.
Placements: A placement cell is available in the university, but it doesn't work properly, it is just present for a namesake. In the name of placements, only a few of the government schemes are introduced on the campus for placements of students, but that too, outside the state.
Infrastructure: As far as the infrastructure is concerned, the university is spread over a very vast area. A very big convocation centre is available, and high-end laboratories are present in the campus. Wi-Fi facility is provided. The hostels are very good. Cafe Coffee Day is present on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty are top in each and every department. They are very helpful. They give their best in every subject, particularly, in the labs and practical work. The course curriculum is somewhat on the older side. The courses are same for the last 10 years and is bit outdated.

College was good because of teachers.
Placements: In 2023, around 20% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. It all depends on students's talent. Top recruiting companies were Cluster University and IUST. Almost 10% of students secured internships from our course. Top roles offered in our course was English lecturer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were decent, no smart boards or Wi-Fi, but there was a library that we could only access from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Hostel rooms were decent, with three beds, and we had to compromise on space and other things. Food was not too good, but medical facilities were quite satisfactory.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified and experienced. They were helpful in all aspects whether it's educational support, emotional support, or financial support. They not only make students industry-ready but also to be practical in life. Semester examinations were difficult. Pass percentage was 55%.
Other: I chose this course because I like English literature, it makes us sober in nature. I wish there would be an improvement in infrastructure of university.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placements and infrastructure.
Placements: There are no often placements in our college. The placements were delayed, our department didn't do anything for placing the students. This is a bad thing about the department. It's better to study somewhere else. This department is not up to the expectations of students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome in this college, except that AC's arena't working in the classrooms. The building is new, and Wi-Fi is not given to the students. The labs are there and working properly. The library is great, but too fewer books are available in the library. In fact, the department is not up to the expectations of students.
Faculty: The faculty is ordinary. Only journalism is being taught well in this college, nothing from mass communication. The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was average. Student-faculty ratio was 5:1. Except for some powerpoint presentations no new teaching methods were used in the classrooms for teaching.

The university of Kashmir is one of best universities in India.
Placements: There were about 40% of the students who got placed in my course. The highest package offered is Rs.75000 and the lowest package is Rs.25000. The average package is around Rs.25000. Almost all the students got internships in my course. There are so many companies that recruit students with the best salary packages.
Infrastructure: In our university, very good facilities and good infrastructure are available. There are very good library and classrooms. The hostel facilities are good and the food services are also available in the mess. There are medical facilities available which are also good. There are so many facilities for games.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good and the semester exams are very difficult because there is a lot of competition.

This is the best university in India.
Placements: KU was the top university in Kashmir with the best faculty members. Almost 80% of students were selected in Jkssb after KU courses. I have been doing M.A, and simply put that the 3 years had been good. There were a lot of good helpers, and students will enjoy their life in this university.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was excellent. Library and laboratory were provided. Hostels and accommodation were easily available, and there was a good climate with a beautiful landscape. Students will come to know the beauty of Kashmir by staying there.
Faculty: Faculty members were the best in this college. Teachers were highly qualified and friendly. Students could visit them during non-class hours and get extra care. There was a lot of competition. The students and the exams were good. Students will find the teachers very helpful.
