Q:   Is it worth pursuing BBA at Kashmir University?

    A:
    {Source: BBA students & alumni}

After analyzing the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

    * Pros: Faculty members are exceptionally qualified and helpful, the campus is beautiful, and there are opportunities for extracurricular activities.
    * Cons: The course curriculum may not be up-to-date, the placement record is average, and the university lacks a dedicated placement cell.
    * Placement Record: Around 60 students from the class get placement offers from various companies like HDFC, Wipro, SBI, Tata, etc., with salaries ranging from INR10 LPA to INR30 LPA.
    * Campus Life: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the library is one of the largest in the state. Hostel life is decent, with good food quality and a comfortable environment.
    * Teaching Staff: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, but their teaching methods vary depending on the subject.
    * Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, and other facilities are adequate, although the hostel in North Campus is not ideal.

Overall, pursuing BBA at Kashmir University seems feasible, considering the faculty members' qualifications and helpfulness. However, students should be aware of the potential limitations, such as the outdated curriculum and average placement record. With careful planning and preparation, it's possible to make the most of the university's strengths and achieve success in the long run.

    Here are the key takeaways:

    * Pros: Qualified faculty, beautiful campus, and opportunities for extracurricular activities.
    * Cons: Outdated curriculum, average placement record, and lacking placement cell.
    * Placement: Offers range from INR10 LPA to INR30 LPA.
    * Campus Life: Good Wi-Fi, large library, and decent hostel life.
    * Teaching Staff: Well-qualified, but varying teaching methods.
    * Infrastructure: Adequate classrooms, labs, and facilities, except for the North Campus hostel.

Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for BBA students at Kashmir University?

    A:
    {Source: BBA students & alumni}

    Placement Cell Success Rate: Non-existent

Based on the information provided by students and alumni, there is no placement cell at Kashmir University. The institution does not strive to secure jobs for its BBA students, leaving them to fend for themselves. Here's what we know:

    * "There is no placement cell present in the college." - This indicates that the university does not have a dedicated unit responsible for placing students in jobs.
    * "Students have to suffer on their own to get placed." - This statement suggests that students must undertake individual efforts to secure employment opportunities.
    * "None of the students got an internship." - This implies that the university does not offer internships or work experience programs to its students.
    * "The college is not providing many campus recruitments from the past few years." - This further reinforces the fact that the university is not actively involved in facilitating job placements for its students.

In conclusion, the success rate of the placement cell at Kashmir University is zero, meaning that it does not exist or function effectively to secure jobs for its BBA students.

Organized exams, balanced curriculum, and timely results enhance academic experience.
Placements: Kashmir University is a well-known university and it provides quality education to the students. 50 to 60% of students get placed ( depending on their knowledge and skills). Top recruiters are Infosys and Tata Company. Managerial posts are offered to the candidates with good knowledge and skills.
Infrastructure: As a student here, I appreciate the classroom environment with spacious, air-conditioned rooms and smart boards, making lectures comfortable and interactive. The university offers diverse sports options, allowing students to pursue activities that match their interests, which promotes an active lifestyle and teamwork. However, the canteen could improve in both quality and variety of food, as it is a daily reliance for many students. Overall, while the learning facilities and extracurricular options are commendable, enhancing the canteen experience would significantly benefit student life.
Faculty: Exams at the university are well organized and consistently held on time with no delays, which helps students manage their preparation and schedules effectively. Results are also released promptly, reducing the uncertainty and stress often associated with waiting. This reliability in the exam and result schedules is reassuring and allows us to plan our studies and future coursework accordingly. Each semester is thoughtfully structured with a balanced mix of easy, medium, and hard subjects. This variety ensures that students experience a manageable level of challenge, helping us build skills gradually while also pushing us academically. The passing percentage is set at a clear 40% across all subjects, providing a fair and transparent benchmark. This structure, combined with timely exams and results, creates a positive and efficient academic environment for students.
Other: I chose this course to get in-depth knowledge of business and it helped me with that There are different events being held, such as sonzal, chirgish, kaspun, etc., where students and outsiders can participate and showcase their talents and businesses.

    Dissatisfaction over the satisfaction
Placements: We are 60 students in total. The highest was 3-4 LPA. I read it from the website I don't know about the reality but through seniors I got to know that they only provide placements to selective students like if there are 60, only 7-8 can get placements depending upon the record. They have made of themselves with placement officer and with other head faces. Wipro, SBI that I've heard from the sources of website that hire from our campus. Just 20% students got internship. Nothing I have heard about the roles they offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Except the infrastructure and teaching staff , rest are good there. They have kept our classroom in the storeroom that's basically the zero floor of the library. Talking about the canteen and other facilities that a University should have, are all above average, except our classroom infrastructure and faculty performance.
Faculty: Few teachers are good rest are I guess are useless to teach management. They don't know the ethics about how to treat students. Talking about our curriculum it's still as it was before 10 years. It has not updated yet so I think we cannot relate it to the present industry evolution or like such sort of. So you can see how sleepy management they are in.
Other: It was fancy to pronounce "I'm doing imba " so I chose it. They conduct fest events very well

The college principal is serious for the growth of college.
Placements: Around 150 students were enrolled in my course. Not many packages offered or any at all. HRM companies like Aptask and other companies hire. 40% got an internship at PNB MetLife. HR manager, recruiter, and general manager are the top roles offered. Not many roles are offered by the college. My BBA through DYD has a fee of 11,500 per year. Top recruiting companies is dependent upon students capabilities.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, and an extensive library. The hostel infrastructure is very good; the hygiene, the food quality, the medical facilities—I don't know much because I only stayed there for 2 days because of the college campus; I don't stay in hostel otherwise. The canteen is top-notch, the service and everything are top-notch; sports and games are little consistent.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, but not up-to-date and not very helpful; every teacher is only some teachers. Semester exams along with the T series exams are very serious. I mean, you cannot sit for semester exams unless you have decent credit/points as a student. Pass percentage, I must say is 70%.
Other: This course is very flexible through a new scheme of education called Design Your Degree under New Education Policy (NEP) 2020; that's why I chose this. I wish there were some more and more fruitful, practical, and time-fulfilling activities in my course. Events like the Chilai Kalan event, the Ramadhan Iftaar party, Republic Day, Independence Day, and the and the Entrepreneurship Program. Sports activities/extracurricular activities: cricket, football, basketball, and other sport activities are there.

One of the best universities to pursue courses in kashmir because of the infrastructure
Placements: I am from the 2024 batch and i have got this placement information from the placement officer himself. The highest package was : 17 LPA. Lowest package was: 4 LPA. Average package : 8 LPA. Top companies are Bajaj Finance, Wipro etc. Roles offered are manager, Financial executive.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is there. Wifi is available and a big library for studying and grabbing books is also available (sir syed iqbal library). Hostels have a good infrastructure and sports facilities are also available. Good medical facilities are available a proper health center is present.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are PHD'S and are very knowledgeable and the quality of teaching is very high. The curriculum is according to the NEP which makes the student industry ready. Semester exams are of moderate level and 30% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because in future i want to run a business and the best thing about this course is that it teaches us how to handle the venture and the internships provided by the university helps us get the practical knowledge of it. Fests happen continuously and the campus crowd is very good and friendly. Scholarship are available. And i myself am a sports player and the university gives me a push to perform more and help me out in the training sessions.

Whoever reads my review will get detailed information about the college.
Placements: I'm a Bachelor of Business Administration student, currently studying in my second year. In my point of view, our college has great placements in all fields. The college offers various courses which provide opportunities to get an admission in our college.
Infrastructure: Government Degree College, Anantnag, was established in 1950. It is spread across an area of 250 kanal. Our college has great infrastructure as well as facilities, whether it's inside the buildings or outside. It has a big play ground for sports. A Library is built somewhere in one corner of the college. Also, it has personal Wi-Fi with a range of 3-5 meters.
Faculty: Our teachers have gained high level of education. Their insights for the students are rare. In a year, there are two semesters at intervals of 6 months. The passing percentage is according to the CGPA. The students should get a minimum of 5 CGPA to qualify a semester.
Other: In 2026, I'll pass out from this college and become a BBA graduate. BBA is related to business and marketing. In today's era, I think it is the best course to pursue.

    Kashmir University I-MBA review .
Placements: It is very disappointing that the placement level at the university is below average. The package at the university is 4 LPAs. Many companies come for recruitment at the university, including HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Radisson Hotels, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very good. There is almost every facility available in the university, including Wi-Fi, modern-day classrooms, the most famous Allama Iqbal Library, interdepartmental libraries and bus services for nearby students. Hostels are available for both boys and girls at the university and healthy food is served in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members of the university are very qualified, no doubt about that. Teaching quality is also very good. The syllabus of my course is not up-to-date; it is very old-fashioned and does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to pass; the difficult level of the exam is medium.
Other: I chose this course because it was very affordable for me and easy to get admission to I-MBA because the entrance fee for this course is easy to qualify for. I wish that the administration could update the syllabus of the course and offer an existing option. Events and fests are held every semester and you will have fun coming here.
