MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2025

Azeezia Medical College Review.
Placements: I am currently doing house surgery, so it's not yet time for placements. Students from this college can be recruited to any medical college or hospital. 90 percent of students from my batch got internships. The internship must be completed at the same college where we studied for our undergraduate. JR, SR, Andhra Pradesh, RMO, and CMO.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent with great ambiance and natural beauty. It provides the perfect learning atmosphere for students. There are vast grounds for football, basketball, volleyball, kho-kho, etc. Reading rooms and library facilities are available with a wide range of medical textbooks, journals, etc. Spacious, air-conditioned seminar halls are equipped with projectors, blackboards, whiteboards, and adequate seating capacity. Both boys' and girls' hostels are worth the rent. Rooms accommodate three people with newly constructed common washrooms on each floor with modern interiors. Separate cupboards, chairs, and study tables are provided for each person. Spacious corridors can be used as practice space for cultural and sports events. The mess food is provided by a separate entity called Vista Hospitality Service. Three non-veg items are provided per week. The food is of good quality, tasty, and hygienic. The menu changes every week. Medical facilities are readily available. Sports items can also be practiced with separate coaches for each.
Faculty: The faculty at our institute is excellent and well-experienced. Many of the teachers are retired professors from government medical institutions. Most of the teaching members establish a good rapport with students. The curriculum follows the new CBME (Competency-Based Medical Education) system, which focuses more on practical and clinical aspects of medicine. This is very relevant in the current scenario as it helps us in skill development and in future practice as doctors. The average pass percentage is 90 percent in every batch. Internal exams, model exams, and periodic assessments, which are of moderate difficulty, are conducted.
Other: As a student, I was more inclined towards medical and science-related subjects, which led me to pursue this career. Getting to alleviate someone's pain and suffering seemed interesting. Violence against the medical fraternity is a demerit of this course. Common festivals like Onam and Christmas are celebrated. Students are allowed to participate in inter-college competitions like KUHS Zonal, Inter-Zonal, etc. Apart from this, various sports, arts, and cultural inter-batch and intra-batch programs are also conducted in the college. The campus life is good. Merit-cum-means scholarships can be availed, subject to the fulfillment of certain criteria.

BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery - Batch of 2025
Offered by Annoor Dental College

Annoorian's life in a few words.
Placements: Most of them were able to set up clinics on themselves. Dental care recruitment is there in our college. And most of them went abroad for further studies and clinics. All students in our college are required to do an internship in our college itself. And to transfer, they have to pay extra money.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are moderate. But it's still better than most of the other hostels nearby. They have good security for girls. Outing time is only till 5:30. And home visits are twice a month. Parents can visit us till 5:30 any day. Food is medium. The canteen is available.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and the quality of their teaching is good. The curriculum is highly relevant and helpful. During the internship, they provide us with extra courses for implants and impactions and various other procedures. Hands-on experience is provided.

BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery - Batch of 2020
Offered by Mar Baselios Dental College
2.8
1Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
It's great to take admission in Mar Baselios Dental College.
Placements: This course is mainly focused on the dental aspect. BDS is a 4.5-year course in Kerala with a 1-year internship. This course also offers PG practice and a good salary. Admission is acquired after allotment, which is based on the NEET examination. A total of 60 students are allotted per batch at Mar Baselios Dental College.
Infrastructure: Mar-Baselios Dental College provides a good and neat infrastructure for students. A well-established library, a well-maintained working space and a special priority for extracurricular activities make the college stand out. Arts, sports, and cultural activities are well conducted.
Faculty: Teachers have good knowledge. The course is under the University of Health and Science, which is located in Thrissur, Kerala. Yearly examinations are conducted and half the mark out of 70 is necessary to pass the examination. Students who fail in more than 2 subjects will be backed for 6 months.
Other: I chose this course since it provides a wide range of knowledge about the most sensitive area of the human body, the moral cavity. The course is quite good but the year-back concept should be dropped since it affects the mental health of students.

B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2026
Offered by JDT Islam College of Nursing
3.8
4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Review of JDT Islam College of Nursing.
Placements: In our college campus, interview placement is done for students with adequate marks and skills. Mims Hospital, Iqraa Hospital, and abroad are coming to hire the students and also appoint them if they feel the students are good. Nursing officers, assistant doctors, infection control departments, nursing tutors, clinical instructors, etc., roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. But the hostel facilities are a little congested with more students. But comparatively, other colleges ensure good safety and facilities. We need a permission letter for getting leave from the hostel. Mess food is okay. They provide nice food on some of the days of the week, like payasam, biriyani, beef fry, etc. Wi-Fi is available in labs and good classrooms. The library facility is very good with lots of books for reference.
Faculty: Faculty members are very skilled and conduct exams on time. Due to the semester, students do not get adequate time for studying. Every year there are 4 internals and 2 semester exams for each subject. 50 percent is required for all subjects, including practicals, to pass.
Other: It is the best part of our college. That's why I am here. All programs are very good. Students can enjoy their campus life like an arts college here, even if they are medical students. Lots of stress due to exams burst out in college programs. They are very good at sports too. Well, support and guidance are getting for our sports team members. Don't forget it is your parents money. So more focus on studies should be given. Thank you.

BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery - Batch of 2029
Offered by KMCT Dental College
4.4
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Satisfied with the best infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: A total of 100 students were there in my batch. There are no placements. A compulsory internship of 5 years with a 7000 per month salary is given. As we have NAAC A+ accreditation, we are more preferred over other colleges dentists. We are given research programs along with courses so that we can earn a good amount by last year.
Infrastructure: We have a digital evaluation center, a good canteen, Milma refreshing points, a hospital nearby, a mini theater, a digital library with Wi-Fi availability, a mini bank around campus, and an open gym. In the hostel, study hall, sick room, and washing machine facilities are available. A room for 3 students. Prayer hall is available. Food is good, no problem. Apart from these, the herbal garden, basketball, badminton court, cricket pitch, football ground, and tennis court are all available. The indoor sports complex is also present.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and experienced in their own subjects. They are always ready to clear our doubts. Course curriculum is relevant. It makes students eligible for a broader scope of practice abroad. Semester exams in college are of moderate level. Hundred percent success is seen even in this year's regular third-year exams.
Other: I love BDS, as this course needs both practical and theoretical knowledge. We improve people's smiles and overall moral health. After the treatment, when you have done good work, the patient, along with his or her family, appreciates your work and remains forever grateful to you; it can be observed from their behavior. We should use advanced dental technologies and should make people aware of their oral health. Every festival, national holidays are celebrated. Scholarships are provided for reservation students. As extracurricular activities, we have NSS, yoga, movie club, dance club, sports, and band.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2027
Offered by College of Pharmacy, Kannur Medical College
2.8
3Placements2Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
A college having enough potential if explore properly but neglected by the management.
Placements: The Pharmacy College does not provide on-campus interviews for final year students as engineering colleges do. Instead, graduates must apply for jobs after graduation. Fortunately, the job opportunities are quite good, as there are many pharmacies in the area. In addition, companies such as Cipla and Lupin hire graduates to work in their companies.
Infrastructure: The college lacks infrastructure, and often the labs don't have the necessary chemicals or apparatus for practical work. Running out of reagents is a common occurrence in the labs, which is a major inconvenience. The hostel provides a safe environment, and the food is good and healthy. The medical college has a cafeteria that is open to students and visitors. The college holds arts and sports events every year, and students participate with enthusiasm and competitiveness.
Faculty: The faculty at my college are good enough. They are qualified and knowledgeable enough to clarify our doubts. However, sometimes our college doesn't have the faculty for a particular subject, and that can make it difficult for students to learn the material. Exams are conducted properly, and the curriculum is followed without fail. Semester exams are hard if we don't study regularly and properly, but if we do, it's easy to get a passing grade. However, only hardworking students can manage to get a distinction.
Other: The college is not worth the money, but the course is. The campus lacks social life, and the pharmacy college is located in the medical college, so we don't have much connection with the hospital or the people there. I chose this college to study further and research in medicinal chemistry. I wish that our course had more practical exposure in hospitals. The college conducts cultural programs and celebrates holidays like Onam, Christmas, and Ifthar. Scholarships are not provided.
