King George's Medical University (KGMU) offers a PG-level MD course for three years. This course is offered across 20 specialisations. Admission to this course at KGMU is entirely based on the NEET PG entrance exam, which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Q: What is the eligibility for MD at KGMU?
For admission to a three-year MD course at KGMU, there is basic eligibility criteria as per NBE norms. Admissions to this course is based on NEET PG scores. To appear for this entrance exam and admission to MD is offered to those who hold MD degree from a university recognised by Medical Council of India with minimum 55% aggregate in the case of General & OBC categories. There is a relaxation of five percent for SC/ ST category candidates. The reserved category candidates are required to obtain 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of MD.

In the official notification, National Board of Examinstions (NBE) said the NEET PG 2024 date is tentative and candidates should keep checking the official brochure for exam date and schedule for NEET PG 2024. NEET PG 2024 application form will be released in the first week of January probably. Candidates have to register themselves online to access and submit the application form for the exam.
