Presently, KGMU offers admission to MBBS course on 250 seats. Candidates are selected based on a valid rank obtained in NEET UG entrance exam. At KGMU, all the seats are filled with UP state NEET UG counselling process, which is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) particularly for the state colleges of KGMU. KGMU offers admission to MBBS course for a duration to five and half years (66 months). Admission to MBBS courses is entirely entrance-based. In order to get admission to MBBS course at KGMU, candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board. Form MBBS admissions, KGMU accepts valid scores of NEET UG, which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. Candidates who qualifiy this exam will be allocated seats as per NEET UG Counselling in various rounds. 

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, the opening rank was 20731 and the closing rank was 25581. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at KGMU - King George's Medical University is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. King George's Medical University (KGMU) offers a three-year BSc course to students across two specialisations. Admission to this course is based on merit. Students must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to get admission to the KGMU BSc Nursing course. NBE has announced the date for NEET PG 2024 exam along with the schedule of NEET MDS, FMGE recently. NEET PG 2024 will be held most likely on March 3, 2024. In the official notification, National Board of Examinstions (NBE) said the NEET PG 2024 date is tentative and candidates should keep checking the official brochure for exam date and schedule for NEET PG 2024. NEET PG 2024 application form will be released in the first week of January probably. Candidates have to register themselves online to access and submit the application form for the exam. 

NTA is expected to start the NEET 2025 registration in the first week of March 2025. The last date of application will be scheduled in the first week of April 2025. Based on student requests and other external factors, NTA may extend or reopen the NEET application window by mid-April. NEET 2025 is expected to be conducted in the first week of May 2025. NEET 2025 application process will be conducted online. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form in an online mode along with the payment of the application fee. 

KGMU MBBS cutoff 2023 for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 1970 for EWS and 110746 for PWD category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET UG, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

KGMU cutoff 2024 for NEET UG Round 5 seat allotment has been released for the ST AI category candidates. As per KGMU NEET cutoff 2024, the cutoff rank for BDS for the ST category candidates belonging to All India Quota is 320828. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), conducts NEET UG counselling across various rounds and categories. Considering the NEET UG Round 3, students cannot get admission for MBBS course at KGMU with a cutoff rank between 10000 and 30000 under unreserved category, however, apart from MBBS, students can prefer BDS at a lenient cutoff rank of 29714. No, direct admission in MBBS course is not possible at King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. Admission to MBBS course at KGMU is strictly done on the basis of NEET scores and ranks.
