Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placement in 2022.

Placements: Every student is placed. 15000 to 20000 rupees per month is the average package. Naik Seafoods, Gadre Marine pvt ltd, Karunya Marine Exports, etc. re some of the top recruiter. Every student has the chance to work in the fish processing and aquaculture industries. Aquaculture and processing are the college's two primary areas of activity.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available all over the campus, only available in library for study purpose. There are so many laboratories in the college. Such as wet lab, microbiology lab, biochemistry lab, aquaculture lab, processing hall, IT lab, fishing gear lab, marine Biology lab, modular kitchen, etc.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, doctorates and very much talented so the teaching quality is very good. In last sem all students have to work actually in the industry so it makes the students ready for the industry. The exams are very tough and not set by the college staff. The question papers are set by the university. Minimum 50% required to pass.

Other: I love fisheries so I chose this course. So many events are held college by the cultural department. Connectivity with the city is 5km. Village are surrounding the college.

Things you should know before taking admission in College of Fisheries, Ratnagiri.

Placements: The fisheries course is nice for those who own a pond or are planning to make a pond. Further, you can also work in the fisheries industry such as food processing or value addition industries. All jobs regarding the fisheries sector are available, and further, you can do Masters and Ph.D.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the boys' hostel is not good, but that of the girls' hostel is nice, and the fee is also less. The mess is present in both hostels, and the hostels are present near the college only. The library is present and provides students with all the required books and other books required for competitive exams.

Faculty: The curriculum is well specified, and many topics are repeated throughout different semesters. A 4 CGPA per subject is necessary for passing, but in total, for every subject, 50% marks are required for passing. The last year is fully dedicated to industrial training and working on a pond.

Other: Gatherings are there. The fee structure differs from caste to caste. OBC and other lower castes don't have college fees, but hostel and mess fees are applicable.
