Krishna University, Machilipatnam, accepts admission into various Post Graduation courses offered in Campus College of Krishna University, Machilipatnam, Krishna University Dr. MRAR P.G Centre, Nuzvid, and Colleges affiliated to Krishna University offering post-graduation courses, through Krishna University Common Entrance Test (KRUCET).

These courses include degree programmes in Humanities & Social Sciences, Sciences, Journalism and a few certificate/diploma courses in Yoga and Painting.

Admissions will be given on the basis of the rank obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Test KRUCET-2019, conducted by Krishna University, subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

The exam has been successfully conducted for this year and the results and ranks have been announced on the official website. 

KRUCET 2019 exam dates will be announced soon. 

The candidates should satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria for the respective courses as given under specific eligibility criteria. Candidates should submit all the original certificates in support of their eligibility at the time of counseling failing which the candidates will forfeit the claim for admission.

The candidates who have already completed one P.G. course (Professional or non-Professional) will not be considered for any type of scholarship, as per G.O.s. in force. 

Eligibility as per educational qualification for MCom programmes 

MCom

A candidate who is a BCom graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 40-50% marks in the qualifying examination can apply for admissions to the MCom programmes offered at Krishna University through KRUCET.  


As per age limit

As per Govt of A.P. Social Welfare (Edn) Department Memo No. 10537 / Sw. Edn. 2/2011 dated: 01.11.2011. The Maximum eligible age for obtaining scholarship in respect of SC, ST and BC is 34 years and in respect of EBC / Minorities / Disabled is 30 years for PG and above courses.

As per reservation rules

Admission to various courses of study will be made on the basis of merit, subject to the following reservations.

a. Local Candidates:  85% of the available seats in each category in every course of study are reserved in favor of the local candidates. Candidates claiming reservation under this category shall enclose a local candidate certificate in the appropriate form given in Annexure-B

b. Other Category Reservations:

Note –

1. The rules of reservation that are in force at the time of admission shall be followed

2. Admissions made under BC-E category are subject to final decision of honorable High Court of A.P.

Step 1: Fill Application Form

Aspirants need to fill the application form for online on the official website. Aspirants are informed that in order to fill the application form for entrance exam for UG course admissions they need to register on admission portal.

Applicants need to upload their photograph and scanned signature such that it is maximum of 50 KB in size and is in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format.

The registration fee for UG is the same. Apart from the amount mentioned below, aspirants need to pay additional registration fee for every Course/Programme for which they are applying for the entrance exam.

The KRUCET 2019 admissions prcess goes through a set of steps as directed by the directorate of admissions, Krishna University. 

  • Eligible candidates are required to read the instructions carefully before filling the KRUCET-2017 online applications. Candidates seeking admission into various PG courses should appear for KRUCET- 2017.
  • They are advised to go through the Krishna University Admission Information Brochure carefully before filling the online application form. Proper care should be taken while filling the respective categories of reservation in Online Application form.
  • A Candidate has to carefully fill online application along with all the enclosures including correct mobile number and Email address.  So that all information can be intimated via SMS or mail IDs.
  • Separate Online application should be submitted for each course even though eligibility criteria is fulfilled. However, a single online application is enough for each course for admission into the University College / PG Centers / Affiliated Colleges. Online Application must be filled together with all required enclosures.
  • After the successful filling of the application process, the candidate will have to appear for the written entrance test.
  • Clearing the entrance test, the applicants will further have to appear for the counselling process. Here, the certificates of the candidates will be verified and on the basis of your marks and rank in the written test, the seats will be allotted as per availability.

Step 2: Appear for KRUCET 2019 Entrance Test

Students need to appear for entrance exam as per the schedule mentioned in the important dates section. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before commencement of the exam.

For all UG courses, the university conducts written entrance exam.

Step 3: Check KRUCET 2019 Exam Result

The University would be declaring the results for UG entrance exams on the respective official website. The varsity would also display the result on the notice boards and also on the official website. 

Step 4: Class Commencement 

The university will commence with the classes soon after the KRUCET 2019 results are announced. 

The candidate has to choose an examination center from among the places mentioned above in online application form.

Candidates applying for more than one test are advised to opt for the same center as there is a possibility of overlap of dates for both the tests.
