To be eligible for the MBA programme at Madurai Kamaraj University Distance Education (MKU DDE), you must meet the following criteria:

1.Graduation:

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any area. This provides flexibility for candidates from diverse educational backgrounds.

2.Acceptable Degrees:

The following degrees are considered acceptable for eligibility:

• B.Com (General, E-Commerce, CA, CS, PA, Banking & Insurance, Honours)
• BBA
• BE
• BCA
• B.Sc. (CS, IT, Math, Physics, Chemistry)
• This broad range of acceptable degrees reflects an inclusive approach to admissions, allowing candidates from various streams to pursue the MBA program.

Minimum Marks:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. This criterion emphasizes a certain level of academic achievement in the undergraduate degree.

The exact scores required in TANCET exam vary according to the year to year. Madurai Kamaraj University cutoff 2023 for the MBA course is based on TANCET MBA scores followed by round-wise counselling. Also, the university offers admission through various affiliated colleges. Candidates seeking admission to Madurai Kamaraj University MBA course must have a valid score to be eligible for further rounds. As per the TANCET cutoff 2023, the TANCET score for Fatima College stood at 6942, whereas for Nadar Mahajana Sangam S. Vellaichamy Nadar College it was 6276 and Senthil Kumar Nadar College Virudhunagar it was 5855 for the MBA courses. On analysing the cutiff trend with that of past year, it can be concluded that the Fatima College has seen a fluctuating trend for the MBA admissions. All the ranks mentioned before are for the General category All India candidates. 

To apply for an MBA at MKU, students need to qualify for either MAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ TANCET/ TANCET MBA/ GMAT/ ATMA/ MAH CET exam with a valid score. To be eligible for the MBA programme at MKU the aspiring candidates need a minimum of 35% in class 12 and 50% in graduation. There are a total of 1526 seats available for the MBA programme out of which 291 is offered through the Directorate of Distance Education, Madurai Kamaraj University.

• UGC Approved: MKUDDE is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), which is the apex body for the recognition and maintenance of standards for higher education in India.

• NAAC Certified: The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has certified MKUDDE. NAAC assessment and accreditation are significant indicators of an institution's quality and adherence to certain academic standards.
