Review of Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: This university was founded in 2015. Around 20% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Lupin and Aimil. Almost 35% of students got internships. Top roles offered are in production, analysis, and pharmacology. You can either open a drugstore or become a researcher.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college has Wi-Fi, labs, etc. The Wi-Fi facility is not good. The lab has limited equipment. The library is equipped with air-conditioners. It has limited books. The food served in the mess is average. You have to find PG.
Faculty: Our teachers are average. They are helpful. Some of them are not helpful. Students have to study themselves. I secured good marks. I secured 2nd rank. The course curriculum is MBBS and pharma based. It makes students industry-ready. You have to put in some effort.

Totally satisfied with the college, and overall, it is a good college for education.
Placements: Placements are amazing in B.Tech and other branches. 12 Lacs per annum was the highest package offered. Many companies like TCS, BYJU's, Aaxis Bank and many other renowned companies had visited for placements. Around 50% of students got placed in the college recruitment program. Other Punjab government job fairs are also conducted.
Infrastructure: Our campus is lush green with amazing infrastructure and new buildings made with traditional architecture, and many new buildings are to be made in the future. The authority is thinking of expansion of the campus with new hostels for boys and girls.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified with Masters degree and are really helpful. They are totally coordinative with the students. The curriculum is totally relevant to the AICTE rules and regulations. Proper site training are provided by the college. The college thinks of proper all-around development of a student.

Okay to take admission in this college.
Placements: No students are placed yet. We are still pursuing our Bachelors so cant tell about the lowest or the highest salary DLF Asst. Architect, Landscape Architect, Town Planner, interior designer, teacher, model maker, draftsman, environmentalist, developer and much more.
Infrastructure: We have a library, various labs, drawing halls, computer lab, workshop area. Hostel quality is low, quality of food is okay-okay, there is a dispensary in the college and sports and games are very popular. Moreover many competitions are conducted for the well being of students and to improve their personnel development skills.
Faculty: Teachers in architecture department are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are experienced. Some of them are pass-outs of this college and have come here back to join as a faculty member. Yes this course curriculum is relevent to some extent. On a scale of 10, I would rank it 5.
Other: I chose architecture because I love to draw. I have learned the building construction techniques and how to design a building. I have learned various software. More interactive sessions, the latest technology would help improve the course. Campus crowd of architecture department is classy.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college in my field, but people don’t prefer this for engineering.
Placements: For the architecture stream, there are no in-campus placements, but you can get the job easily once you get the degree. The college has a good name in the market. But on the other hand, for engineering streams, the college organises job fair. There are many companies come to the college to recruit the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. They provide free Wi-Fi. There is a good canteen providing food of different types. The classrooms have projectors, and air conditioning systems. The library has a vast collection of books. An e-library is also present.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in every stream. They make a good relationship with students. They are qualified up to the level. They have required knowledge in their field. They arrange trips to different places to get exposure so that we can learn by seeing the things practically.

Overall, the college is good for the B.Arch and textile students.
Placements: There is only one time when I have witnessed a senior batch farewell, and at that time there was 0% placement in the college for the architecture students. The companies do visit our college for the placements, but only for the engineering students. Although, the students graduating from here get jobs easily as the study here is good for architecture.
Infrastructure: The building is good and provides the Wi-Fi facility in the whole campus and hostels. There are big classrooms with good ventilation. The library is the E-library. The dispensary is present inside the campus, and every kind of basic sports facilities are there. There is a new university building, which is under construction with a beautiful design. There is a big space inside every department.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly and understanding. They are helpful in every aspect, and most of them are qualified up to M.Arch. Some of the heads are PhD holders, and some are pursuing PhD. They are a good source of knowledge. Both audiovisual LANs and the simple classrooms are present in the campus, and the methodology is adopted according to the need.
