Placements: Only a few companies visit here for the placements. Even these are only for show off as they were offering Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 10,000 to the graduates. This college should bring some good companies for a better future for their students. The biggest part of college is to place their students in good companies.
Placements: The placements are not really good at this college. Small companies from nearby, i.e., Chandigarh/Mohali come for placements that too with the minimalistic package. But, since the college has formed the new university, it is trying to conduct job fairs. If you want to be written as an engineer in front of your name, then go to this college.
Placements: The college has a very bad record of placement. Very few companies came during the placement. The package offered by the company is the worst. The college is good only for its infrastructure. Very bad placement record. 15-20% students are placed, and they were also placed at a very low package of about 1.2 lakhs per annum.
Placements: Placements for my batch and for my senior batch also were not good. Only very small companies, especially from Chandigarh, used to come at that time. Only 10-20 % students have been placed and after getting placed, they were not happy because of the job profile they got. I do not remember the highest salary but the average was 2.5 LPA that time. Some startups visited from Chandigarh while some came from NCR. Usually, IT companies came for selections and some companies like Sonalika came for mech...
Placements: The placements of my batch were on par with the previous batches of the colleges. Around 60% of the batch was placed in various companies that visited the campus. The highest salary offered to my batch was Rs. 3.25 lakhs. The biggest mass recruiter that visited the campus was Infosys Ltd and it recruited around 40 people from my batch. Infosys also offered the selected students a 4-month internship with them before joining and they offered a stipend of Rs. 4000. ...
Placements: The placements of the college are not up to the mark. Our college provided the highest package of 5-6 lacs and the lowest package of 2-3 lac. Only some of the students were placed this year. Many students pass out from the college with a job in hand.
Placements: The placement and job opportunities in the college are very much likely as many of the students were placed every year. L&T, Practo, HCL, HDFC, etc came for placements. They offered a minimum of 2,50,000 and a maximum of 8,00,000. In internships, the minimum stipend offered is Rs 5000.
Placements: The placements of the college are not up to the mark. Some of the students were placed in this year in front of me. Our college provided the highest package of 5-6 lac and the lowest package of 2-3 lac. Only some of the students were placed this year. During placements, different types of companies come every year for the different courses offered.
Placements: On-campus and off-campus placements were offered. A few companies like Walmart and Nestle amongst other local companies visited the campus. The highest package offered was 9 lakhs per annum by Trident to textile engineering students while the lowest was 1.2 lakhs per annum. 30-40% students were placed from our batch. No companies related to construction or civil engineering visited the campus.
Placements: 1) None of the students got the internship from the college. 2) Infosys was the only well-known company which came this academic year. Only 4 students out of a total of 200 eligible students got placed in Infosys with a salary of 3.5 lacs PA and the role assigned to them was System Engineer. 3) A few other companies like Pompeii Technologies, Emicon etc also visited the campus with a package of around 2.75 lacs. 4) The placement scenario is good for CS/IT students (approximately 50% got placed w...
Placements: Only topper students are placed in the companies. The medium and average students are not placed. But the college will tell you about 100% placement. But it is not true. If you are not interested in job, then this college is perfect for you. otherwise it is not good for poor people and for those who want placement from the college.
Placements: Placement drives are held often but with little or no core companies. Companies for placement are usually startups. Companies that usually comes are from either IT sector or from ECE field. Very less number of companies visits the campus for civil and mechanical engineering students. Even industrial training in 8th semester is difficult to get if you don't have any relation in the company.
Placements: The placement was not good for our batch and for our senior batch. Only 10% students placed in our college in our batch. The highest salary is 3.25L and the lowest is 1.8L. Major companies are Infosys, NetMax and Cetpa. The Roles offered were software developer or sales.
This college is good in academics, especially considering streams like architecture and mechanical engineering. The labs here are very well-equipped, and the hostels are the usual source of fun and enjoyment. It is affordable in terms of routine expenses, and the crowd here is getting better batch by batch. But, the fests here are not much nice.
The college has a good infrastructure. The faculty of the college is decent. College encourages co-curricular activities among students. It needs some improvement regarding placements of students. It has now become a technical campus, so it is high time for it. Overall, it is a good college.
It’s a good college, if you are here to study. Good infrastructure, but very bad with meals in hostels, really not tolerable. You have to be independent for your career as there is no such facilities for placement, it’s pathetic here. But study wise it’s good, some teachers are very good and rest are worthless.
The college is good with more experienced faculty members. One thing that is needed is to improve the soft skills and the placement scenario of the college. Since now it is an autonomous body so it’s better manageable. Most importantly certain amenities like auditorium etc. need to be fixed.
This College is one of the good colleges if someone is looking for Engineering College in Punjab. Campus facilities and teachers are good. It is outside of the city which is a problem. Crowd here is mostly the local crowd of nearby areas. It has very cool and supportive management department.
From academic point of view, study is pathetic and a child doesn't learn much. No practical education is imparted. Crowd in college is also pathetic. Not good environment for girls. There aren't many sports activities in the college. Drugs can be easily found in the Hostel. If you just want a degree then this is the place but if you want to learn, go somewhere else.
I would say that don't go thinking that this is a government college because it is a semi-private college and fees is more than some good private colleges. It is located in a remote location, near a village in army cantonment area, between farms. The college area is a good 98 acres. There is no option to bunk classes and hangout because city itself has nothing, so most of the time you will spend in hostel or college. Hostel food is average. Hostel rules and curfew for girls is very strict. Hoste...
