I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements offered are average. The highest package offered in this college to the mechanical student on off-campus is 4.5 lacs per annum only. But now in these days, the government of Punjab will originate the job fair in this college. There is a placement cell in this college.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college in my field, but people don’t prefer this for engineering.

Placements: For the architecture stream, there are no in-campus placements, but you can get the job easily once you get the degree. The college has a good name in the market. But on the other hand, for engineering streams, the college organises job fair. There are many companies come to the college to recruit the students.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: If my percentage is above 60%, I would surely get placed in a great company. My college is very responsible for placing the students in good companies. My seniors are well placed from my college. My seniors have advised me for this college, and I am liking it.

The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are good. Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: The companies like Infosys and Wipro visited for campus placements. If you are taking admission in this college, you should be the topper to have college placement. Otherwise, you have to find the placement on your own.

Very good and nice college for engineering.

Placements: The student who studied in this college can get a very good job in government or private sector with very good pay scales. The college also held job fairs in college for placements in private sector like Jay pee etc. Students can also get job in higher posts in government services like the sub-divisional officer and junior engineer etc.

It is one of the best colleges for study, fun, and entertainment. The fee is less.

Placements: In the placement drives of my batch, 40% students were placed for the internship only, because I think there was a less preparation for the interview and students were not serious. And placements are not too good that the students can. One reason is that students are not serious about the job at the time when they are in college.

It is satisfactory in every means.

Placements: It is a place where you learn to become diplomatic. The placement record for the core branches is good. Many companies offer the jobs to other branches. Overall the placement record is fit and fine. The companies like Wipro and Infosys are highly reputed ones and visit the campus for the placement of the students.

Overall, the college is good for the B.Arch and textile students.

Placements: There is only one time when I have witnessed a senior batch farewell, and at that time there was 0% placement in the college for the architecture students. The companies do visit our college for the placements, but only for the engineering students. Although, the students graduating from here get jobs easily as the study here is good for architecture.

I am satisfied because of the faculty and the environment of the college.

Placements: The placements in our college are not enough, as there are placements only for the CSE students, which is very less for the mechanical and the civil engineering students. The college doesn't invite any companies, so there are very fewer opportunities to get into the placement from this college in the mechanical and the civil engineering.

Dissatisfied because of the facilities provided in the college and the hostel.

Placements: The placements are good. The students are well-settled. Almost all the students had employed in the companies. 98% students got the placements. The salary was offered upto Rs. 80,000 per annum. The students who studied in this college are done post graduation with a good percentage and took degrees after the completion of their post-graduation. The students are well-settled and doing jobs with a good salary for their work.

I am dissatisfied with the placements, but it is the best college regarding every other facilities.

Placements: There were no placements from the last 4 years for the civil & mechanical students. Only the textile branch had some placements. The college has no placement facility for the students, but the facility provided is good. Majority of the students study for the placements, so I recommend students not take admission in this college.

Not very satisfied, but it's okay.

Placements: The placements are not too good, and it's average. The companies come for IT only. In mechanical engineering, there are no better placements. Earlier it was good when I was in the first year. The companies hire the students approximately in all the streams, but at my time, it was all finished. The sad thing all about that is that the organisation does not do anything about it.

Go for this College if you really want to work hard on your own and keep yourself busy.

Placements: Placements is a tough scene when it comes to this college. The best companies come for the MBA course and for CSE and IT branches of B.Tech. A few companies show up for core branches. But the placement cell gets the college registered for the combined placements with other universities. So it somehow makes up for it. Still, the placement scene requires a lot of work as the locations offered are mostly within Punjab and Chandigarh. For the 2016 batch, less than 70% students got placed. But that...

Campus is good but requires a little bit more effort from students as well as the authority

Placements: The placement is good for other branches but less for civil engineering. The campus is too large and the faculty team is a little bit good but overall good experience. If I talk about civil engineering, there are too many options like JE SDO and other government job opportunities.

Placements: Placements in the year 2017 are far better than the placements that held in 2016. The training and placement cell team did show up some spirit and work harder this year. Hope they keep this up further. But still, only the 25-35% of the students were interested in placements. Rest all others are looking forward to other options. Good engineering college with placements either.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities in the college are very likely as many students are placed every year. L&T, Practo, HCL, HDFC, etc. They offer a minimum 2,50,000 and a maximum of 8,00,000. Around 100 students were placed every year.

GZSCET - The college has good faculty.

Placements: The placements are okay. It depends on the trade basically. Mechanical has good placements. Textiles engineering also has good companies to recruit. Electronics lags behind in placements. Electrical is again okay. Architecture has great placements and even the staff is highly competent.

Placements: There were least placements for our batch and the seniors as well. It's sad but true. The college administration should work on this so that the next batches getting recruited there don't suffer. No doubt, there isn't a lack of talented faculty and nice environment of studies in the college but somehow the placements are near to zero. Best government college for engineering in Punjab.

Placements: There was a lack in campus placements in the year of 2016. But now, the college is doing a commendable job in creating opportunities for students by inviting a number of employers. The polytechnic wing of the college provides the best efforts in the field of placements. Infosys signed a MoU with the college for recruitment of the students on the first day of every year.
