Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of MDU Rohtak?

    A:
    {Source: B.Pharma students & alumni]

MDU Rohtak has a restrictive campus life for girl students, with limited freedom and many rules. However, there are good sports facilities and a well-stocked library. The academic schedule is busy, with over 15 lectures per week, and exams are held semesterly. Teaching methods are traditional, with an emphasis on textbooks, but students have access to a designated teacher and student representative for support. Security measures include guards and CCTV cameras, but outsiders cannot enter the campus unchecked. There have been no security breaches in the past, and the college takes a strict stance against ragging. Overall, the college provides a safe and structured environment for its students.

Based on the reviews, the overall infrastructure of the college is mixed. Some reviewers have reported that the infrastructure is well-maintained and fully equipped, while others have stated that there are some limitations and restrictions regarding the use of certain facilities.

Review 1 describes the infrastructure as "well-furnished" and mentions that there are no issues with electricity or classroom maintenance. Review 4 states that the infrastructure is "decent" and has all necessary labs, although they may not be huge or extremely spacious. Review 5 praises the quality of the labs and medical facilities, as well as the mess and canteen services.

On the other hand, Review 2 notes that students are not allowed to use the Wi-Fi in the department, although there is Wi-Fi available elsewhere on campus. Review 3 states that there is no Wi-Fi facility in the department, but it is available in the hostel. Review 5 mentions that there are some restrictions on the use of Wi-Fi.

Overall, it appears that the infrastructure of the college is adequate, but may not be top-notch or fully comprehensive. Some facilities, such as Wi-Fi, may be restricted or limited and there may be variations in the quality of different facilities. However, the college seems to provide a good range of resources and services, including sports facilities, libraries and dining options.

Summary: The infrastructure of the college is mixed, with some facilities reported as well-maintained and fully equipped, while others have limitations or restrictions. The college provides a good range of resources and services, but the quality of facilities may vary.

Q:   How does the placement cell for B.Pharma at MDU Rohtak assist students in getting placed?

    A:
    {Source: B.Pharma students & alumni}

Placement Cell Assistance at MDU Rohtak for B.Pharma Students

The placement cell at MDU Rohtak assists students in getting placed through various means:

    * Faculty Support: Teachers are knowledgeable and experienced, providing excellent training and industry visits to enhance students' capabilities for top positions.
    * Industry Relations Committee: The committee helps facilitate internships and placement opportunities with reputed companies.
    * Dedicated Placement Committee: This committee is responsible for guiding students throughout the placement process, ensuring that they receive suitable job offers.

Although the placement cell may not guarantee 100% placement, it makes efforts to expose students to various industries and job opportunities. The college provides guidance on openings and opportunities in different fields, which has resulted in most students securing internships during their final semester.

However, it's essential to note that the placement record is not entirely satisfactory, with around 20-30% of students receiving placements. The university needs to improve its placement strategy to attract more companies and increase employment rates for its graduates.

    Really good infrastructure.
Placements: There are fewer placements offered in this department. The top recruiting companies are Cipla, Sunpharma, etc. Only 50% of the students get placed. The highest package is three lakhs and sixty thousand rupees, and the lowest is two lakhs.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are up to the mark. The infrastructure is very well organized and maintained as well. We are getting all facilities in the hostel, and our mess is also good. There are lots of canteens available on the university campus. There is also a separate sports complex.
Faculty: The teachers are quite less helpful in exams; you have to study on your own to pass. They make the students ready for the industries; yes, they are helpful in the lab, which is the exception. The exams are semester-wise, and the exams are hard. If you want to score good marks, you have to study hard.
Other: Our batch comes from different cities of Haryana, and also some students from other states make a typical relationship.

Decent college with room for improvement .
Placements: Around 80% of B.Pharma students were placed. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Cipla, Sun Pharma, and Ranbaxy. Additional, 65% of students secure internships. The top roles offered were QC analyst and production manager.
Infrastructure: Advanced Education Institutions boast excellent facilities, including modern labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a well-stocked library. The hostel offers comfortable rooms and the quality of food in the mess and canteen is decent. Medical facilities are readily available, and there's a good range of sports and games for students.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and knowledgeable, but the overall teaching quality was average. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant but needs an update to be truly industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 70%.

    Our college gives best placements.
Placements: The placement of B.Pharma here has not started by now. As the b. pharmacoursr was started back in 2020 and as the first batch will graduate in 2024, the placement has no record in terms of B.Pharma. But as per I think the college will help the students with placements.
Infrastructure: Good college with good infrastructure. As the college was established back in 1962 the seems a bit old but is maintained in a good way. The college has all the necessary facilities. Campus has good Wi-Fi. All types of sports are available in our college and our college gives exposure to the students.
Faculty: I was studying B.Pharma in this college. Our college professors are well qualified. They are very knowledgeable ad their teaching quality is awesome our course curriculum is updated and our college makes students ready for industry. Our college takes exams and the exams are very easy.

Good education facilities, excluding the placements.
Placements: Our department for pharmaceutical sciences doesn't provide any placements for students. There is a placement faculty available, but the number of placements they provide is nearly zero. Internships can be pursued by students on their own, and the average package just after B Pharmacy is about 2K.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is quite impressive. The building of our department is the oldest in the university but still stands strong. There are hostels available for the students, and the hostel facilities are very impressive. They provide a good environment for students.
Faculty: The teachers present in the department are educated and have vast knowledge regarding their choice of subject. The teachers make students ready to face the world after completion of the course. The exam level depends on the study and preparation of the students.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in medical sciences and pharmaceutical products.

    Pharmacy at Maharshi Dayanand University.
Placements: Placements is the area where this University performs miserably, there are almost no placements in the Pharma department. None of the faculty being responsible for this is serious. I am in my final year and not a single company has visited and none of the students have been placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise, this is among one of the best universities having fully Wi-Fi enabled hostels, library, and departments. Library is just awesome being very large and having a fully centralized AC. The food quality is quite good depending on every hostel’s mess. A very big and a premium sports complex is there as well.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and highly experienced. Their teaching quality is quite moderate. Some of the teachers are exceptionally hard working and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is standard as per guidelines of PCI. The semester exams are of easy to moderate level. 50% minimum is required to pass.
Other: The campus life is awesome. Many fests also keep happening. Sports events also take place regularly.

    Absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: The college has an average placement rate of 74%, with only 2 Lacs per annum being the average package offered. However, the highest package offered is 5.5 lacs per annum. Despite this, the college provides good exposure to students and attracts top companies for recruitment.
Infrastructure: This college is located in the middle of the city. We have emergency medical services. All the necessary infrastructure and facilities are there. Wi-Fi, smart boards, and geysers are a few of them. Hostel food is very delicious. Sports and games are also held at our college.
Faculty: I graduated from this college. The quality of education at this college is above average. Teachers are not interested in taking classes. The curriculum needs to be updated. Various teaching events happen to spread knowledge. Our college makes students ready for industry.
