Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for BCA students at MCNUJC, Bhopal?

A:
{Source: BCA students & alumni}

Success Rate of Placement Cell for BCA Students

Unfortunately, none of the student reviews provided mention anything about the success rate of the placement cell specifically for BCA students at MCNUJC, Bhopal. Therefore, we cannot determine the exact percentage of students placed through the placement cell or the companies they were recruited into.

However, one review mentions "due to the pandemic, hostels and colleges are closed, and students are not able to gain full knowledge" which implies that the placement process might have been impacted during this time. Another review mentions the availability of digital classrooms, libraries, and good lab facilities, which suggests that the university may be providing adequate resources for students to prepare themselves for placements.

In summary, while we don't have concrete data on the success rate of the placement cell, it appears that the university is taking steps to provide its students with the necessary resources to succeed in their careers. However, more information is needed to accurately assess the effectiveness of the placement cell.

Really very good infrastructure with multiple facilities.
Placements: 75% of students got placed and the highest package is 5lac and the lowest will be 3.5 lac and the top most recruiting company is AVP, Zee media and so on.50 %of students got internship and they offer the roles of content writer, Anchor, social media manager, editing and many more.
Infrastructure: They provide lots of facilities like well maintained classrooms, labs, and library and there is a studio which is well and good for the students to fascinate. Quality of hostel food facility is also good and students can also involve in the ciricular activity like sports and games.
Faculty: If we talk about faculty, curriculum and exams teachers were very helpful. They provide lots of study material regarding our courses then it would get more easy for the students for preparing. And yes this course is relevant because you can make yourselves ready for multiple field of journalism and mass communication. And the semesters exams in the college is not that tough, you can easily pass all the examination and 90 percent is the pass percentage.

The college has the best faculty members, good placement and infrastructure.
Placements: There is a good scope for all the students, who are seeking for the mass communication. The college has the wonderful environment to study, and also for the placement in both campuses like Madhya Pradesh as well as New Delhi. The classrooms are well-maintained. The campus selection for the student is good, if you want to make your name in the mass communication then come and join in this university.
Infrastructure: The college is established under Madhya Pradesh legislative assembly act no 15 of 1990. The relationship between the faculty and the students are eco-friendly. All the faculty members teach properly, and the students learnt the syllabus in happy nature, and nothing is worried about the ragging and any other.
Faculty: The course offered by MCU is a department of electronic media, department of computer science and medical science, department of management and journalism, department of mass communication, department of new media and technology, and department of advertising and public relationship.

MCU is a good platform, but your success depends on your own efforts and dedication.
Placements: You need to get placement on your own potential, the college is only providing a platform. And, there are very fewer chances of campus placement. Initially, the salary is less but it can go high according to your personal skills and experience, and internship stipend is very nominal.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is small but pretty enough for communication courses. The university campus is very small, there is no playground, canteen food is disgusting. No Wi-Fi is available for students, and no boys hostel. The computer lab is good, also, MCU campus is under construction which is 18 km far from the current one.
Faculty: There are not any reformation in the courses. No update on the syllabus. Majority of teachers are on contract basis, teaching quality is average, there are a maximum of 30 students in a class. Many seminars are organised in a month which is good. Each class is 1 hour but teaching hours are not fully efficient.
Other: Many seminars are there, but the events are very few. The fest is celebrated, but it is just an ordinary function, all the media offices are close to the university campus. No activity is organised, only once in a year. Only 20% of fee scholarship is provided. No extracurricular activities as one of the reasons is the small infrastructure.

Makhanlal Chaturvedi University, a complete package.
Placements: Good companies, media houses and channels visit our campus for placements, and my senior students are placed in a good platform today. ABP news, UC News, Dainik Bhaskar and many more media houses have served their campus placements for students with good salary and pay scales. Rather than media companies, production and printing, packaging, skilled and various companies also served their placements for students because this university conducts many other courses like new media technology, computer application, printing and packaging, advertising and public relations.
Infrastructure: Well-furnished classrooms are available here. There is a good library with good collection of books that are well assembled. This university also serves medical facilities and appointed two doctors with their separate cabinets. Computer labs are also available separately for each department, and separate common rooms are also available in each department. The canteens are also available with good quality of food. Girls and boys hostels are available.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are very well groomed and knowledgeable. They help us and guide us on a good path in life. They are well qualified and teach us with good techniques and with good presentations. For every 30 students, 1 professor is mentioned, and in the overall department, there are 7 teachers provided including the head of the department. They also provide visits and industrial exposures for students.
Other: Special lectures on different subjects are provided for students. 3 day based The university also conducts orientation programs for welcoming new batches every year. Annual fest named Pratibha is also organised for students for performing their talents.

The atmosphere, ambience, crowd, culture and placements are the key to MCU.
Placements: You will get the best placements here. During my last semester exam, my college brought ABP News, Glibs News, Bullmart Research House, Dainik Bhaskar and Absolute India Newspaper. 25 students were selected in Bullmart research with a 3.5 lakh per annum package and I am one of them. 4 students are placed in ABP, 12 students are placed in Dainik Bhaskar and 10 students are placed in GlIBS.
Infrastructure: We get the best faculty in terms of knowledge, experience and behaviour. Our HOD (Head of Department) is the kindest person I have ever met. You will get a cool library with a number of journalism related books. You will get the best chai in the canteen along with hot aloo ka parathas and samosas as well. Every year, the university conducts an inter college fest i.e, Pratibha in which you can take part in any 4 activities such as writing, clay making, PPT presentation, storyboard, photography, sports etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are NET qualified and most faculty members have done their PhDs in respected fields. They are so supportive and they will guide you in each phase, either it is a personal problem or college related problems. In the morning, they conduct personality development classes. It will help you so much. They also do different activities to help you improve yourself.
