I'm satisfied with the university environment, and I got placed in a good company.
Placements: More than 50% of students got placed in reputed agro-based companies. They offered 2.5 Lacs per annum. Students are placed in companies like Agrostar, Ramshri, Krishivan etc. Their roles in the companies are agri-advisory, team volunteer, etc., and some boys are placed as marketing executives etc.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available for all students. A smart library is available, with a good environment. Mess food is average only, but the canteen is good. There are separate buildings for different faculty. There are big playgrounds separately for different games. There is a gym also.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. Semester exams are held timely. Faculty members are helpful. All faculty are responsible towards their duties. They help us when we need them. Overall, it's very good.
Other: My overall experience is good.

Mewar University has amazing infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed in different countries every year from this University. There are too many companies recruiting for our course.
Infrastructure: There is 6 Wi-Fi on each floor of the college hostel. Good quality food and top medical facilities are available. Amazing university with a very big campus, gardens, football ground, cricket ground, security management, volleyball ground, basketball ground & many more.
Faculty: The staff is very nice and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course as it offers good placements.

Really good infrastructure but with an average faculty members.
Placements: Around 40 percent students got placed from our university in last year. I don't know much about the salary but average salary offered was around 23-25 thousand. Most of the students from our university got internship in companies like saras, sanchi and in many sedd development companies.
Infrastructure: Our university has got good infrastructure and facilities. We have got a good library with a great collection of books from different fields. There is a good network of Wi-Fi available in our campus. Labs have good facilities and with a lab assistant. But sometimes the food quality is poor in university mess.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are good in our university but some teachers are freshers and that's why they sometimes fail to explain our queries. The teaching quality is also average. The university offers some training to train the students but due to lack of experienced faculty members, it got fail.
Other: I choose this course because there is a lot of scope in this field and actually I want to become an agriculture scientist. I want improvement in the training because in this field training is much important than theoretical knowledge.

Good infrastructure but not yet satisfied with other things.
Placements: Campus placements are not so good as I don't have much information about it. A placement cell is present in the university. Most of the students prefer private internship on their own efforts over the university's suggestion. I don't have much information about the salary of senior students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but Wi-Fi facility is not available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Classrooms are good, and there are separate libraries for different departments including a central library. Sports and games activities are average, and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and have helpful nature. Teaching quality was better in the 2nd semester as compared to the 1st semester. We did not get any industry exposure yet. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20 approximately. The course curriculum is useful as it has much scope and need, in the future.
Other: Events are hosted on the campus regularly. The university fest is said to be the biggest competitive event in the university. Students from various parts of the world can be found in Mewar University.

I am satisfied with my faculty. Placement opportunities are not good.
Placements: The placement facility is poor for all the departments, but sometimes it gives a good opportunity for placements. In B.sc. Agriculture course the placements are very poor, because till now just one batch passed out from our university. As per the internship concern, my university will provide internship to all students at best place, but placement is so far not good. My senior batch didn't get placed anywhere. In the internship, some students get 5000-7000 Rs. as a stipend, But most of the students don't get any stipend.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my university is good and satisfied. Our campus is with the well-furnished classrooms and labs. WiFi facility is provided throughout the campus. Medical facilities and sports facilities are also available with the best faculty. Labs infrastructure is good, but most of the chemicals are not available. When requirements are given, they don't arrive on time. Canteen infrastructure is best, and quality of food at canteen is also best at affordable rates. Hostel rooms are well maintained and cleaned. Hostel rooms are spacious enough. The food quality at hostel mess is very poor and unsatisfactory.
Faculty: The course curriculum is best, and it has been taken from Tamil Nadu Agriculture University, Coimbatore. But the faculty is not so good. Most of the faculty are just M.sc Qualified, and they also left early for their higher education. All the time syllabus not covered by faculty on time. But every faculty is helpful, and they give their best all time. In the teaching methods, they use the power point presentation, practicals, and blackboard. For B.Sc. Agriculture there is 15-18 faculty on 500 students.

Q:   Is Mewar University good for B.E. / B.Tech?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is Mewar University good for B.E./B.Tech?

Based on student reviews and feedback, here are some mixed opinions about Mewar University's B.E./B.Tech program:

* Placement Record: The placement record is somewhat disappointing, with only 1-2% of students getting placed annually. The highest package offered is around INR4 lakh, and the average package is around INR2 lakh.
* Teaching Quality: Some students appreciate the teaching quality, saying that teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. Others feel that some professors are not well-qualified or skilled in explaining complex topics.
* Curriculum Relevance: Most students agree that the course curriculum is relevant and prepares them for the industry. However, some feel that it's not updated regularly and doesn't cover recent technological advancements.
* Infrastructure: The university's infrastructure is generally considered good, with modern classrooms, libraries, and recreational facilities. However, some students complain about the hostel food being mediocre.
* Internship Opportunities: While some students got internship opportunities, others report that these were mostly unpaid or took place within the university itself, without providing meaningful industrial exposure.
* Job Prospects: Unfortunately, many students feel that the university does not provide adequate placement opportunities, especially in technical fields. Even seniors struggle to secure jobs despite having high GPAs.

Overall, while Mewar University seems to have its strengths in terms of infrastructure and teaching quality, the placement record and job prospects leave much to be desired. Students considering this institution for their B.E./B.Tech education should weigh these factors carefully before making a decision.
