Q:   What is the admission process for MSc at MG University?

A: 

Admission to the PG-level course is based on merit in MGU CAT score. The entrance exam is conducted by the university for PG courses. After the entrance test, a merit list is published to declare the names of selected candidates. Further, the seat allotment procedure is carried out through MGU CAT counselling or the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). It is also crucial that the aspirant meet the eligibility requirements.

Overall best college for M.Sc. In Mathematics course.
Placements: St Berchmans provides a good placements. Most of our classmates were placed in various companies. Around 70% of students got placed. Most leading organizations offer positions such as Statisticians and Academics. Top hiring firms include McKinsey & Company, Accenture, and HDFC Bank. Our college also provides a variety of internships, and the majority of students were picked for them. The highest package is 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure and facilities. The campus has a good Wi-Fi network. Our department has its own Wi-Fi network, labs, and library. The library has a large number of books, which is really valuable for students. The canteen is clean and well-maintained, and the food is of good quality.
Faculty: Faculty members at our college are helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is the good. The course provides us with comprehensive understanding of the company, which is quite beneficial. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to difficult, with a pass rate of 55%.

Placements: Our college provides excellent placement opportunities for students in our course. Ninety-three percent of students are placed, with an average salary of 10 LPA. The highest salary offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. TATA ELXSI hires the most students from our department, and other top hiring firms include American Express and Ford. The highest-level positions available are data scientist and actuary. Additionally, 90% of students receive internships.
Infrastructure: The college has a large library and offers free Wi-Fi for students. The food is of high quality, and there is a hostel available. The department has a well-equipped hardware lab and an embedded lab with full air conditioning. The labs are both challenging and interesting.
Faculty: The teachers were excellent. They were at least 30 years old and typically did not use textbooks when teaching. Instead, they taught from their own notes, which we used for tests. We never had subject-specific books. The semester exams were easy to pass, with an 89% success rate.

Satisfactory course and college.
Placements: The placement has been really good and it's always above 60% as per the records. There are a few companies who generally come like Amazon and IBM and are some of the regular and top recruiters. The highest package that was offered was around ten Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: It is quite nicely developed and you can take a virtual tour to look at like the classroom is spacious the Wi-Fi is good and there are a few seminars that take place we also have a cafeteria place and the food is good with options. The hostel is very nice.
Faculty: The curriculum is pretty updated with quite relevant topics covering both theoretical knowledge as well as practical industry needs. The faculty members are very good and there are knowledgeable and they are good researchers and Ph.D. holders. The semester exams have a passing rate of 80%. .

Placements: The placement team went through a lot of processes in recruitment. I came to know this because I had worked as a student placement coordinator. Students only need to concentrate on clearing the placement tests when they were free from work. The maximum salary package offered in 2022 by recruiters was Rs. 13,45,000 per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college changed a lot after I had joined this college. They tasks for students queries using online students feedback form which was collected at the end of every month. Based on such reviews fitness centre and yoga class were arranged for students.

Placements: I got placed in Bharat Electronics Ltd with a salary package of 3.4 LPA. This was possible for me with the help of my placement. He shares all placement links with student placement in-charges immediately without any delays. They solve our issues promptly.
Infrastructure: Various fests and events are conducted in our college and other colleges. At least one event is organised every month. Teachers mostly encourage us to participate in such events and win rewards or trophies. Management asks teachers to use green boards to reduce glare on the eyes.
Faculty: We visit industries at least once a month, which helps increase our capacity to understand the concepts. Teachers don't force us to study, but they follow a schedule for teaching and conducting tests. I cleared my course in the first class with distinction.

Infrastructure is good and food is bad.
Placements: There are a medium amount of students in the course. The highest package is 12 lpa, and the lowest is 2 lpa in the course. The top recruiting companies are sales. Internships are only available to a small number of students and are not required. This course offers a large amount of science.
Infrastructure: Institution and infrastructure are good comparatively, as the infrastructure of class rooms and colleges is not bad enough. The hostel is little average and the food is not good enough to eat. The sports and games are not enough and WIFIs are not available in the hostel rooms.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well qualified, as the teachers are well thought out, and they teach very nicely as they can do the teaching as professionals. The course is also relevant and is ahead of time. Secondary exams are easier and should be studied well. Passing mark is 25 marks.

Q:   What is the KEAM 2024 exam date?

CEE has announced the revised KEAM 2024 exam dates. While the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Engineering remains scheduled from June 5 to June 9, 2024, there's a change in the exam timings. Engineering exams will now be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, shifting from the previous slot of 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Conversely, the Pharmacy exam, originally planned for June 6, will now take place on June 10, 2024, maintaining its original timing from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Candidates appearing for the Engineering Course must report at the examination centers between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. For the Pharmacy Examination, candidates should report at the examination centers between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
