Placements: I didn't get placed from college as the placement cell of our college is not very supportive and doesn't invite good companies for students. If you want to get placed, you need to work on your own. Our seniors also faced the same issue with placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month.
Placements: Placements in the college are nothing when compared to other marine institutes. Placement department says to go and try other jobs, try IT companies or different courses as they can't provide us with placements. There are almost 200 cadets in B.Tech 2015-19 batch, but only 10 are placed. They promised us during admissions that they provide 100% placements in their college, but they are not investing on us. They say that no companies hire cadets of the 4th year, but that's not true.
Placements: We are the first batch of aerospace engineering in this college. We don't yet know about the placements and tie-ups with the companies. We are the senior most batch. No internship programs are arranged specifically for students of the aerospace branch. We are mostly included with the mechanical students. There is no such placement cell here.
Placements: The placements in the college are supposed to start from the second year of our course, but because of certain reasons, it became difficult for us to see the companies coming to conduct interviews. Before taking admission, we have analyzed many things about the college, but the most important thing is placements. Before our batch, the placement percentage is 30% to 40%, but today's scenario came down to 8%. I would recommend not to join this institution if you don't have anyone in this field to ...
Placements: Placement of my batch is below average, till now in last semester only 11 students have been placed out of 120 students. In senior batch, about 20 students were placed. Yes, there is placement cell but they hardly take any effort of getting the students placed.
Placements: The placement cell is always there to guide the students. There are no companies visited the college for the campus. About 10 to 15 seniors got the job and average salary offered is Rs.15,000. Some students got the internship from college, and remaining students got the internship on personal references. Only 5-6 students got stipend during the internship. Relations or connectivity with industries is very poor.
Placements: The placement in this college is 10%. It may increase to 17% in some years, but that's the highest. In our batch, it's only 10% till now, and the course is about to get completed in two months. If someone is looking for placement, then this college is not to be opted. There are no internships.
Placements: The most important and mandatory part of being in merchant navy is placement. If you get placed from the college itself well and good, but in the case didn't, it's going to be a pain from outside market. Since there is a recession in the market, the placement of our batch is almost lowered to 60% as compared to our seniors. Out of 184, only 24 students got placed.
Placements: Our college has the least placement with no proper criteria and no proper placement in charge. Students here are very frustrated. Even they meet all the requirement for the particular company, till now, only 15 students were placed out of 200 from our batch. We regret our decision for joining this institute.
Placements: Now the institute changes the university to MIT-ADT university. So, the placement percentage is improving day by day. Maersk line is coming for the fourth-semester students, but the placement for my batch and my senior batch is not good. Few companies are coming for us, but they are not recruiting many cadets.
Placements: According to me, the college placement is zero. Some companies come here like MOL, MTM, Molta, Goodwood. Maersk came here in 2017 and took 28 students from B.Sc. and B.Tech. The salary given by them is around 700-800$. B.Sc nautical science students are offered the role of deck cadet, and B.Tech marine engineering students are offered the role of TME.
Placements: The placement is there for good students. Maersk, Mol, and Goodwood are the major recruiters. Maersk recruits from the 1st year itself while other companies recruit from the 3rd year onwards. For placement, one needs to study hard and should possess sufficient merit, but overall, the placement is very poor. Hardly 10 to 12 get placed, others get suspended.
Placements: The college used to have good placements in the past but since a few years, placements are not even 40%. The number of companies visiting the campus has reduced significantly. In the batch of 2014 B.Tech marine, out of 186, only 15 are placed in 3 different companies till date. The efforts put in by the placement cell of the college to attract more companies for recruitment is very poor. The salaries offered by the companies are somewhat close to $700-800 p.m. for trainee marine engineer. It dif...
Placements: 14 out of 200 students are placed in the 4th year. The placement scenario is not good, and it doesn't seem to change. The industry is facing a recession. The placement has always been the biggest thought for us in this college.
Placements: Our college provides placements, but it was rare. I suggest you do not join this college. Our college management is not good, and it only does business out of students. The only thing what I like is the spirit of students.
Placements: The average package is near about 3 - 3.5 lpa. There is no separate placement officer for the placements. Marketing stream will get you job but not as your expectations. Finance stream have very less opportunities because of the less finance companies approach as compared to marketing.
Placements: If you are smart you can grab the job. Opportunities are there. Well it's the graph that goes up and down for placements.Keep your aggregate above 80% and with good communication skills you will definitely grab the job. This profession is sinking, it's better to go for GME.
