If you have to learn with fun go to MIT and MIT WPU.

Placements: At MIT, there is the centralised placement activity for all the colleges under the banner of MAEER's. There is a separate training and placement office to call and collaborate with an MNCs, IT companies along with the core and the finance companies. If you scored above 55-60%, you will surely get placed. Around, 55% of the students got placed on the campus. The average salary for the freshers is 4.1 LPA. No internship provided by the college. The internship is provided only for the polymer and p...

Good college with disappointing placement only for Civil stream.

Placements: If we talk about placements in Civil Engineering Field (core), it is very hard to get. We had 70 people in our batch out of them only 5 people were placed in core company Shapoorji Palonji. The fact for such low placement is only 2 core companies visited another company had a 3-year bond, with less salary, so everyone rejected it. MIT is College where people take admission with high merit, and some need lots of donations. If we compare it to placements, it is not worthy. They allow us to sit for...

MIT COE, an engineer's delight. Enjoy, engineer, excel.

Placements: The Engineering Training and Placement office provides some brilliant Placement opportunities. A student scoring 60 percent aggregate is most likely to get placed in a decent MNC, credits to MIT placement cell. The College also allows institutes like APPART to conduct the training related to placement calls, interviews, group discussions which helps a lot in building a future for students who are new to these procedures.

This is a good place to learn and grow.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. The highest package is over 10 LPA, and the average is good. The placement percentage is almost 100%. The placements are conducted by a placement cell, and they always bring the highly reputed companies for the placements in the college.

Where average meets adequate.

The college, infrastructure and the placements are great.

Placements: The placements offered for the 2018 batch are in full swing at the moment. There are companies aplenty for the students, however, maintaining a decent score throughout the course is necessary as the first cut off is from your aggregate. The big companies like Microsoft, Mercedes, Deloitte, etc. visit for the recruitment but you need to be a student worthy of their package (which is pretty good). Like any other engineering college, the mass recruiters (cc Accenture, Cognizant, IBM) also visit the...

Satisfied with the way it's going, can't change anything in the end.

Placements: The placements are decent enough. If you're good from the beginning, then there is no need to worry about placements. There is a placement cell in the college. MIT, MITCOE, MIT-ADT sit together for the placements. The campus placement definitely helps because it gives a start to one's career.

It is a great college for engineering.

Placements: The placements are good in this college with an average of Rs. 3.5 LPA. Almost all the qualified students got placed every year. Also, the MIT college has a good image in the IT industry. The highest salary gained here is about Rs. 15 LPA. Although, there will be criteria for the minimum cgpa, it varies for every company, every year.

Placements: The placements offered at MIT are quite good. In fact, it is amongst top 5 colleges in Pune in consideration of the placements. A deserving one will definitely get a good package. The average package of MIT is nearly 3-4 lakhs/annum. While the highest package offered is 13-14 lakhs /annum. Best and one of the oldest institutes for studying petroleum engineering.

Placements: Companies like ONGC recruit a good number of students, around 5-8 with hefty packages like 17 lakhs pa. Other companies like Exxon, Cairn also visit the campus for recruitments. Companies like Accenture also allow students from petroleum engineering to participate in their recruitment processes.

Placements: The placements are good compared to those in other colleges offering the same courses. Good companies in the beginning. Don't wait for dream companies. Settle for the right one. The average salary offered is 4.2 lakhs. Placements for the 33rd batch were better than the 32nd batch.

Review of the Maharashtra Institute of Technology.

Placements: The 80 percent of the placement is from mechanical engineering, and I am in BE second year of mechanical engineering. The institute is affiliated to the Pune University, so the placement is good as the reputation of MIT is high in Pune. The college has good placements when compared to other colleges.

Placements: SPCL and Black & Veatch are the 2 core companies that visited for our placements. 2 students got placed in each company. About 7-8 students were placed in Accenture, Infosys, etc. The average package was 4 lakhs per annum, the lowest being 3.5 lakhs per annum, and the highest was about 6 lakhs per annum. Absolutely a fantastic college, with good infrastructure, but not satisfied with the placements.

Placements: The placements in my college were good and about a 25% of the students in my class got placed. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 45,000 per month, whereas the lowest was Rs. 12,000 per month. My classmates got jobs in almost every field. Some of them were placed as a marketing executive, whereas some others were placed as quality engineers. And a few others got placed as production engineers, and one of my friends was placed in the R&D department.

MITCOE - A great environment for the students as well as sport lovers.

Placements: The placements are great. Many companies visit every year. TCS, Infosys are mass recruiters. New startups are also visiting for new ideas. There are a lot of pre-placement activities which will help you at the time of placements. The placement officers are helpful. If you have good aggregate, then you will definitely get placed.

The silver lining if you missed the golden one (IITs and NITs).

Placements: The placements are quite good but not much lucrative with the average package of 3-3.5 lacs (among eligible students). Reliance, Honeywell, Hikal, Navinfluro Chemicals, Kingfa, etc. are some companies that visit our campus. The highest package was given by Honeywell UOP of 8:00 lacs CTC.
