MSU is one of the prestigious institutes with better placement results. It is highly recommended.

Placements: In the course of B.Sc geology, students have to pass out 12th standard with about 55% in PCM or PCB subjects. In the placement fair, more than 10 companies are recruiting like Mahindra Finance, Zydus Hospira Oncology, HT Media, etc. Students who scored a minimum of 50% can appear in placement interviews.

It is good in terms of placements and fees.

Placements: I am from the bachelor of commerce course. I am from the 2021 passing out batch. About 62% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies like L&T and IRB visit our campus for placements. About 33% of the students from our course got an internship in L&T. Top roles are offered in financial and management fields.

It is a good college at an affordable fee for students with very helpful and experienced teachers.

Placements: Top roles offered to the students are quality control, chemist, lab assistant, analytical head, research scientist and research assistant. You can get jobs in different companies likes Alembic, Sun Pharma, etc. Overall, many different roles are available for students in B.Sc chemistry. Teaching is also a good option for students who wanted to become teachers or professors.

There are good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately 30% of the students got placed from the mechanical engineering branch of 2020-2021 batch. Top recruiting companies here are MG Motors, TCS Ninja, L&T, etc. I don't know the exact percentage of students who got internships. However, students who are eligible for good internships will definitely get them in ABB, Thermax, etc.

Placements: Our university provides many placements and internship programs based on student qualifications. For geology, top companies like ONGC, OIL, etc., offer placements, and most of them are placed aboard. Based on student performance university decided the post in the company.

Placements: I'm currently in the 2nd-year, so I have no idea about placements. But the placements are very good here in almost every stream. In our stream, companies like Reliance (rare) Essar, Infosys, etc., recruit students. The minimum criteria to sit in placement is 60%.

Overall, it is a decent university.

Placements: Since I changed my subject altogether after the bachelor's, I cannot comment much about the placements. I don't have any experience with geology-related placements. I heard from many seniors that about 30-40% of the students got placed after their PG. Most of the students got employed through GATE and GSI. Placements are not different in most universities offering geology-related courses except one or two IITs and BHU. GATE exam is the only usable option geology students have. Private company-re...

Placements: Recruitment in our college is very low. Out of 7,000 students, hardly 100 students got recruited, which is a very low ratio of recruitment and not good for students as they should get equal opportunities for placements and recruitment.

Placements: Almost 85% of the students from our course got placed. The average package offered is 4 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., visit our campus for placements. Our college does not focus on internships. Last year, the highest and lowest packages offered are 9 LPA and 1.5 LPA, respectively.

It is the best university, but faculty members are full of politics.

Placements: Placements are not that good. Guidance is not proper, or it is only for students who are good at studying. There are politics between students and between professors too. Only some professors are good in their profession. Companies are good, but we are not able to clear their exams. Most of the companies prefer MHRM students because they required candidates for HR. The percentage of placements is low for MSW students.

Placements: Maharaja Sayajirao University is one of the best universities in Gujarat for any course to pursue. The placements here are quite good compared to other colleges in Gujarat. The average salary package offered here is more than 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is more than 1 crore per annum, which I have seen in the previous year. Faculty of Technology and Engineering is gifted by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda for studies as before it was looked like a palace.

Placements: The placement scenario is not much great for our batch because of the COVID-19 pandemic. As of now, out of a total of approximately 120 students of textile course (combining of all three branches), about 15 students have got campus placements.
