I am decently satisfied with our college.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant and taught well. There is a lot of flexibility in class timings, which allows us to prioritise moots, debates, research and internships. Classes are conducted from 9 am to 1 pm and 10 am to 2 pm for offline college. Online classes are from 9 am to 4:15 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 1 pm on weekends.

Our college is disillusioned, but a reality for most universities.

Faculty: Some teachers in our college are amazing and make you critically analyse what you study. Many of the good faculty members have left for various reasons, but some remain that give hope. The course curriculum, in general, is unchanged. The chronology of subjects taught is confusing. However, teachers themselves update their lesson plans regularly. It doesn't seem that other universities are much better off, as everything falls on the teachers in charge and how they handle it all.

Impressive placements in 2023.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified here, but sometimes there is a disturbance in the classes due to repetitive changes of professors. The professors are also available after college hours for any doubt-solving sessions. The course is well updated according to the needs of the legal industry, and it has 6 subjects per semester. In NLUO, there are only two end-of-semester exams per semester, which are 70 marks in theory and 30 marks in project and viva. The passing marks are 49.5 out of 100, which ...

The infrastructure of the college is good.

Faculty: The college provides highly qualified faculty members. The course curriculum is well-structured to meet the practical needs of law in society. Most of the subjects are taught by more than one lecturer. There are professors, assistant professors, associate professors, and lecturers who have mastered in different subjects.

Review of National Law University, Odisha.

Faculty: The faculty members present in the college are the best among all the colleges present all over India. They are very professional in their teaching. They clear the doubts of students very well. Most of them are awarded from the foreign recognised universities, and this shows their dedication towards their profession, which is very good.

Placements of NLUO are above average as compared to other NLUs.

Faculty: The teaching quality in the first semester was above average. Teachers are ready to clear doubts in between classes, also helpful to share PPTs for the notes. Course curriculum is relevant as it includes law subjects and management subjects as mentioned in the integrated course. Semester exams are quite difficult as the weightage of questions ranges from 15 marks to 25 marks. NLUO offers only an end-sem examination system. There are no mid-semester exams. Pass percentage is 34%, with 75% attenda...

An upcoming law school with good placements, infrastructure however low quality of faculty.

Faculty: The quality of the faculty is the main issue that the college faces, as most of the faculty members are research associate who is still preparing for the NET entrance test. Moreover, the college follows the old tradition of delivering lectures and hence classes most of the times gets boring, and we mostly lack the practical knowledge of the subject. Since we have lack of teachers, the course curriculum depends on the availability of teachers especially when it comes to seminar papers and hence m...

NLUO is a good place, if not the best.

Faculty: Nluo offers two sorts of courses, i.e. UG and PG. UG course offers five-year LL.B. program which can be pursued either with B.A. or B.B.A. Under PG programs, you can go for either LL.M. or PhD. Most of the faculty are good and dedicated. You won't like them at some point in time because of their rude behaviour or arbitrary nature, but at the same time, you need to understand this is something that eventually makes us better only. You won't really like few of the faculty members, and that should ...

A great upcoming NLU with competent faculties, well stocked library and a good atmosphere

Faculty: The faculty is a mixed bag really. That's the scenario in every college, including the best colleges. The faculties at NLUO are well qualified and most of them have a very friendly approach towards the students which ensures there's no communication gap. The course curriculum is very much line with the industry standards and trains one for the days ahead.

College is good with good faculty members, but administration is highly irresponsible.

Faculty: Our faculty members are highly knowledgeable and well-versed with their subjects, and our college uses both practical as well as technological methods for teaching. There are enough faculty members to cater the needs of students. We didn't get any industry exposure. The course curriculum was not that helpful, as it could be used only for the reference.

The National Law University (NLU) admission prospects are slim in view of a CLAT rank of 7616 and an EWS rank of 640. Most of the NLU cut-off ranks tend to be exceptionally lower as compared to general category and EWS candidates, even in some of the most sought-after courses like BA LLB.
