For admission to BA LLB course at NLUO candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2024 counselling will be called by NLUO through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. Those, who have been allotted a seat in the NLU Orissa Provisional Allotment Lists, must complete the process of exercising any one of the actions mentioned below:
- Accept the allotted seat
- Apply for Revise
- Exit from the CLAT admission process
If alloted seat is accepted by the candidate. After, that the candidates need to report to NLU Odisha for admission. The admission confirmation requires, documents submission and fees submission by the candidates through the official portal of NLU Odisha.
Q: When will CLAT 2024 take place for admission to NLU Odisha?
For admission to one-year LLM or five-year LLB at NLU Odisha, the CLAT test will be conducted on Dec 3, 2023. Aspirants of NLU Odisha are required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. Candidates can complete the CLAT registration 2024 until Nov 3, 2023 in online mode. The exam will take place in more than 125 cities listed as CLAT 2024 test centres in 22 states and UTs. The detailed schedule of CLAT 2024 will be declared soon along with the CLAT Exam Centers 2024.
- The CLAT question paper for undergraduate courses has total 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs including General Knowledge and Quantitative Techniques.

The National Law University (NLU) admission prospects are slim in view of a CLAT rank of 7616 and an EWS rank of 640. Most of the NLU cut-off ranks tend to be exceptionally lower as compared to general category and EWS candidates, even in some of the most sought-after courses like BA LLB.
