RGNUL - A Place Where You Will Find Your Way

Placements: 30% of the batch gets placed. It’s not due to placement by the college, but 90% of the placed students secure pre-placement offers themselves. Packages start around 6 Lacs, with 10-12 Lacs being average, and tier 1 firms can offer up to 22 Lacs. Not many firms visit for placements. S&A and EY are major recruiters, offering around 8-10 Lacs. 90% of students get internships, but the college's contribution is minimal; students find these themselves. Top roles include associate at law firms, in-hous...

RGNUL, Best Campus with Quality Education!

Placements: Around 60% of students are placed, and the average package is around 12-15 lakhs. As a tier 2 National Law University, almost all major firms come to campus for recruitment. You can join firms, corporate offices, pursue litigation, or prepare for competitive exams. The college provides opportunities for the same.

The college had poor placements, excellent facilities, infrastructure, and average teaching quality.

Placements: Less than 10% of students who participated in on-campus placements received placement offers. The salary package from campus placement offered was 8.4 LPA. However, pre-placement offers from internships ranged from 6 LPA to 15 LPA. The top recruiter on campus was Singh and Associates. Top recruiters off-campus were Trilegal, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and JSA. Students got internships on a personal application basis in all major law firms and chambers in the country. Top role offered was associa...

Review of NLU Patiala (RGNUL) - Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law.

Placements: RGNUL has been showing consistent growth in terms of internships and placements. Our university facilitates internships for students with highly experienced professionals and in top-tier law firms through its separate internship and placements committee. Through its specialised cell, it endeavours to train and guide students for their practical exposure throughout the tenure of the course. In the past, RGNUL students have achieved highly valued placements in tier-I and tier-II law firms, senior ...

It is among the top law schools in India.

Placements: We don't have campus placements but a significant number of students successfully secure PPOs each year i.e., around 20%. Government services are preferred by the students and a few students also go abroad for higher education. SAM, CAM, LKS, Luthra, JSA, Khaitan, Anand and Anand and other corporate and litigation firms are the top recruiters of our college. Almost all interested and hard-working students tend to get internships, and there's no problem in that regard.

Life in RGNUL: Unbiased opinion.

Placements: The placement in the current year ranged from the top end of 15 lacs for 3 students. 5-10 out of 80 got placed with a package of Rs.40,000-50,000 per month. Most of the students go for LL.M. or competitive exams. The trend of placements in the college has seen a rise in the corporate field as the placements and PPOs are largely dependent on the internships that students undertake.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure, facilities provided and placements.

Placements: The placements offered to our senior batch 2017 was an average one. About 70% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was of Rs. 16 lakhs per annum, the lowest offered was Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum. The average package offered was about Rs. 7.5 lakhs per annum. Amarchand Mangaldas, Surana and Surana, and many other top law firms of India visited the campus. The students were offered to be a part of a law firm as a corporate lawyer, some of them went for the higher practices, and s...

RGNUL, the university with a difference.

Placements: The placements of the college have improved in the past few years as the college is developing and so is its reputation. Hence, the placements are also improving. The placements are not as good as available to the top 4 NLUs but it is far better than the private colleges. The placement depends on the calibre of the student.

The best infrastructure with many opportunities.

Placements: Overall, the placement of our senior batch was quite good. Many went for litigation in different courts and some have cracked the state judiciary exams. Since we have to choose a specialisation in the 4th year, mostly the students choosing corporate law sit for placements. The students of criminal law and constitutional law either go for litigation or prepare for competitive exams. The highest package offered last year was around Rs. 15 lakhs approximately, and the lowest of Rs. 5 lakhs. Reputed...

The good time and life at RGNUL

Placements: The placements in RGNUL are average. Most student appear for civil services and judiciary. However, it attracts reputed law firms such as TriLegal, AZB, Amarchand Mangaldas and more. The placement in 2022 was significantly low and only 13 students were placed. The mean package offered was somewhere around 5LPA which is also very low compared to previous years.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law.

Placements: In our college, placements aren't very good, though we have had quite a few decent offers. Placements really depend on your merit and hard work. However, there are great resources to facilitate the placement process. The placement cell isn't very effective. Alumni are increasing, so in the future, placements would be much better.

Too happy because of faculty, good placements in 2016-17.

Placements: Placements are decent enough in accordance with other NLU's but in comparison with other traditional colleges they are much better. There is a dedicated placement committee made for the purpose of placement which consists of students and faculty members.
