Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) in Patiala, Punjab, is a well-regarded institution for its BA LLB (Hons) program. A one-year LL.M. Post Graduation Course in Business Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Law is available from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL). There will be sixty (60) seats available in total for the LL.M. course.

Students in the home state general category are eligible for a specialised rate at the university. For the home state general category students, nine seats will be allotted individually. Students in the SC/ST category will be given 18 seats. Six places are set aside for students belonging to the OBC category. Candidates need to complete LLB or Five-year integrated LLB from a recognised university with an aggregate of 55% (50% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law LLM course. The placements at The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law are pretty good and the average salary package offered was 8.4 LPA. The university is considered to be one of the top universities for law. 

Every year, the students are provided a generous CTC package during the placement drive. Placements for RGNUL Punjab 2023 are now complete. The CLAT Consortium will conduct at least five rounds of seat allotment for CLAT 2025. Before each round, the consortium will share the seat allotment list for the remaining seats. In case there are still seats vacant after the fifth round, the counselling mop-up round will be held at institute level.
