BSc is a three-year undergraduate programme. The BSc admission is based on the aggregate in their previous qualifying exam. The final merit list of shortlisted candidates is prepared based on GD and PI rounds conducted by the University.
The University offers a BSc programme in nine specialisations such as Radiology and Imaging Technology, Nursing, Biotechnology, Forensic Science, Operation Theatre Technician, Cardiac Care Technology, Microbiology, and Information Technology. However, a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture becomes an exception as it is a four-year course. Additionally, the BSc in Operation Theatre Technique is a three-and-a-half-year course, in which six months are dedicated to the rotating internship. Eligibility Criteria: Interested applicants seeking admission to any of its BSc specialisations need to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Biology and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 50% aggregate.
BSc Fee 2025
After the selection, students must complete the payment for the selected NIU courses to confirm their admission. The total fee includes tuition fees, caution deposits, hostel and mess charges, etc. The BSc tuition fee ranges from INR 2.1 lakh to INR 6 lakh.

IPMAT is usually considered a bit more difficult than SET, as IPMAT exam has advanced mathematics and is calculation intensive. The exam also have a sectional time limit. But, SET is easier in terms of difficulty, does not have negative marking or sectional timings.
