I am in love with this college.

Placements: 70% students have been placed in our course. 2 LPA is the average package offered. Amul, Mother's Dairy & some state fertilizer companies and pesticides companies visit for the placements. Most of the students prepare for either state level exams like OPSC or UPSC banking exams after completing this course. This course offers a range of career options to explore.

Study is good though placement is totally poor. It needs to be improved.

Placements: Amul company came here for placement. Nearly 5% of the students were placed. Another NGO named PRADAN came to our college. The highest salary offered was 4-5lacs per annum.

The college provides quality education, good faculty and infrastructure and many job opportunities.

Placements: It is a multi-facilitated course, where we come across agriculture, forestery, fishery, horticulture, floriculture, meteorology, machines (like tractor rotavater etc.). Agricultural statistics genetic engineering enables us to enter into many sectors with lots of job opportunities. It also paves the path for UPSC banking, defense, railway, and JRF-like many competitive examinations. Both government and private companies like ITC, Bharat Masala, Food Processing Industries, etc., offer internships...

It has good placement and good infrastructure for industrial recruitment.

Placements: Every year approximately 15-20 students get recruited. The highest and the lowest average package lies between 5 LPA to 6 LPA on average offered in recent years. Top recruiters are IFFCO, PNB, and Fassi. Many government sections recruit only agriculture students. Internships are taken by IFFCO and Internshala and there is also a raw program for all students.

It has a fabulous infrastructure, facilities, and excellent faculty.

Placements: Approximately 10-15% of students are placed. The lowest package is Rs.30000 and the highest package is 6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are IFFCO, Fssai, etc. Generally from the extension education department students go on the RAWE program which is a type of internship. The internship is based on pesticide, food production-related sector companies.

This college has excellent faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: Every year 15-20% of students get placement in various companies. Nearly 4.5 - 5 LPA offered in starting & it increases to 6 LPA. IFCO, FSSAI, and PNB are the top recruiting company in our course. There is an internal program in our college where every year 50 students per batch can join & which improves your CV for future. RAWE program should be held in last year where you can improve your agricultural skills.

This college is very good.

Placements: About 15-20% are placed with packages like 3-6 LPA. But in my opinion, we should try and prepare for other jobs like banking, JRF, FCI jobs, IFFCO jobs, and many more such as civil services. The placement cell of this university is not good at all and will not provide lucrative jobs.

I am satisfied with the faculty members and their teaching styles.

Placements: As veterinary has become a level of class one officer, there is no problem regarding placements and packages. Here, job opportunities are secured after passing out. Around 90% of students have got their placements. The salary package offered is 12 LPA to 14 LPA. Companies like Amul India and other dairy companies also come for recruitment, or else you can go for PG and research purposes.

Review of OUAT - Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.

Placements: About 250 students enrolled in our course. You will not find any placement here, so you have to complete the 4 years of study and then wait for a vacancy in a government job. Getting placed in private companies is much tough.

It is a very good college in Bhubaneswar for agriculture.

Placements: Students get placed mostly but not all. There are still many changes required in the placements process. Due to the unavailability of good placements, students either end up with higher studies or have to wait for one or two more years to get a decent job. Internships are there in the final year.
