The college provides poor infrastructure and unsatisfactory placements.

Placements: The college provides very few placements for the students. Very few students are getting jobs of their choice. The average salary offered to the students is around Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. Companies like Nagarjuna, PPL, Mother Dairy, visit our campus to offer jobs to the meritorious students. Students are usually placed in positions which is not apt to their qualifications. Very few students of our college are doing internships with an average stipend of Rs. 7,000-9,000 per month. Our college has great infrastructure with good labs and qualified teachers.

Placements: A lot of companies such as pesticide manufacturing companies and banking firms visit the campus to hire the students who completed their graduation in the agriculture field. But most of the students opt for government jobs with roles like agriculture officers and assistant agriculture officers. Only a few students get placed from our college. Companies like Nagarjuna, Mother Diary, and PPL, etc., visited our college for placements, and they offered a salary of Rs. 30,000-40,000. Even only a few ...

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members, administration and facilities too.

Placements: Our seniors are well placed after passing out from the college. Almost 5% of the students were placed. They get a salary of Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 per month. Companies like Mother Dairy, PPL and Nagarjuna visit the campus every year. They mostly offer bank jobs, AAO etc.

Highly dissatisfied for the placements although the teaching and curriculum are good.

Placements: Our seniors are well placed in agriculture allied and various sectors like banking, civil services, etc. Almost 6-7% of students opt for placements. The highest salary offered is ranged between Rs. 30,000-40,000 per month. The highest and the lowest salaries offered are according to the post in which they are employed. The average salary offered may be up to Rs. 30,000 per month. The lowest salary offered may be up to Rs. 10,000 per month. Companies like PPL, Mother Diary, Nagarjuna, etc., visit...

Since the college is located at the heart of the capital, the connectivity is good.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Companies such as PPL and Pradhan Seeds visit the campus and hire students with a salary of Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. However, students are not preferring private jobs. They are more interested in getting a job in the government sector. Only a few companies are visiting the campus from the government sector. Placements: More than 90% of the students get placed from our college every year. Students can get jobs in many streams such as AAO, AFO, and they can get bank jobs, agricultural scientist roles, and research works. We can also opt for higher studies like PhD and get professor roles. The average salary offered for any AAO is Rs. 35,000-40,000 per month. Only college in Orissa to give the students a chance to study veterinary science.

Placements: Recently many students were offered VAS roles all across Orissa by the government of Orissa. Various companies like Visakha Dairy and other well-reputed companies are also interested in our students. Students can get good skills in wildlife and other sectors, and we can also do practice by setting up our own private clinics. So placements in our college are quite good.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. There is a placement cell, but no student involves in these placement activities. Most of the students do not opt for placements in the college and are mostly attracted towards government jobs like assistant agriculture officer (AAO), assistant horticulture officer (AHO), soil conservation officer, OPSC or banks. A very decent college for pursuing agriculture in Odisha.

Placements: My senior batch has achieved almost 80% to 85% placements. One of my seniors cracked the OPSC exam. One of our college alumni is working with ISRO in the meteorological department. Some of my seniors are pursuing MBA, and one of them is in IIMA. Many students have got government jobs like AAO, DDA and ASCO.

Placements: Very few companies had visited our college to conduct placement drives for the students of our batch. They also offered very low salary packages, so students were not interested in placement drives. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. NGOs and companies like Adventz Group had visited our college for placements. They mainly offered roles in the marketing domain.

OUAT is a campus with vibes, and it is the heart of Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Generally, people prefer M.Sc and higher studies after completing this course. Still, it's a good course if you are interested in agriculture sciences. There can be job opportunities provided, but the campus placement team is not that good. However, one can expect a minimum salary package of 3 LPA at the beginning of the job through campus placements. However, if students do M.Sc in good subjects, then job opportunities can increase.

There were no good placements in the last 4 years.

Placements: Placements were very bad for the last 3 years. The placement cell is available only for namesake and is not working properly. The placement cell didn't invite any famous or renowned companies this year. We are the students of the agriculture department. But no company related to agriculture sector visited the campus for placements, and very few companies are invited by the placement cell.
