Admission to Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) for BTech courses is based on the rank/marks obtained in JEE Main 2024. Candidates should have passed the Class 12 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks. Therefore, it is mandatory to pass JEE Main for admission to PDEU's BTech programme. Q:   Does scholarships available for MBA at PDEU?

A: 

The university offers two merit scholarships for MBA students for the school of SoM, PDEU. The first scholarship is known as merit cum means scholarships and merit scholarships with 50% tuition fee waiver, respectively. For both of the scholarship, the eligibility is national-based exam, i.e.,  MAT/XAT/ MAT/GMAC/ MAT/ AIMA.

Insights of Pandit Deendayal Energy University.
Placements: Nearly 30% of final-year students get campus placements, and 20% got off-campus placements from different companies. The highest package was nearly 24 Lacs per annum, which was given to a CSE student, and the average package for CSE students is nearly 12 Lacs, whereas for ICT, the average package is 7.5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The quality of food in the mess is medium. The hostel rooms can also be termed as average. We have two libraries: one for SOT, which contains books for all B.Tech branches like civil, mechanical, etc., and one library for SLS students, which includes courses like literature and other language courses.
Faculty: The teaching quality can be said to be above average. The difficulty level of the semester exams depends on the faculty assigned to that subject. The exam is divided into three parts: mid-semester (25 marks), internal assessment (25 marks), and end-semester examination (50 marks).
Other: I chose this course as it provides insight and knowledge of both the hardware part, which mainly includes the communication field, and the software part, which mainly consists of coding and designing software.

Review of SoT, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU).
Placements: Placements for the petroleum branch are pretty good, but placements for the branch like ICT are not good. Local companies visit our college. Mass recruiting companies like Accenture and Infosys visit the college and provide a salary package of 3.6 LPA. Approximately 30 students got placed. Reliance visits here and provides good perks. It offers a wonderful salary package of 17 LPA. It is for the petroleum branch. Jio visits our college and provides a salary package of 7.5 LPA with other perks.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty good compared to other colleges in Gujarat. Labs are well-equipped with good PCs and hardware-related resources. Three libraries operate from morning 9 AM to evening 8 PM. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. There is a mess and a cafeteria. The food quality is not good in the mess sometimes.
Faculty: Faculty members here are mostly Ph.D. holders from IITs. They have good knowledge of their particular subjects. They are very supportive of doubts. They provide end-to-end guidance for any project. The research work in the college is good. The teaching is very good. We get a supportive environment.

University have good infrastructure and very well designed curriculum.
Placements: The placements for PDEU College are very good and students are placed very well. ICT department placements are 3.45 Lacs on average and higher placements are 8.90 Lacs, recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, and Accenture also visited for placements and placed very well.
Infrastructure: The university has very well facilities for students and well-designed infrastructure for our course and department. The college also provides free wi-fi facilities and easily accessible labs, libraries, and classrooms also, students anytime issue books from the library, and easily accessible.
Faculty: Faculty also have a good mindset for teaching students very well and good techniques for learning it and teachers are very helpful and qualified for teaching students very well faculty members are also relevant for this course and curriculum and also knowledgeable and good mindset.

Experienced faculty, good placement record, and excellent infrastructure with modern facilities.
Placements: Above 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package placement offered was 42 LPA. Top recruiters were JP Morgan and Case, Google. Top roles are given to SDE and Develop position. Great place for getting internships at various FAANG-based companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has fully air-conditioned and Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms. Classrooms are fully furnished. All high-tech labs are equipped with the latest generation computers, technology, and software. Hostels are top quality with air conditioners, Wi-Fi, and fully furnished rooms. There is safe security and responsive staff members. Students also get great sports exposure.
Faculty: All faculty with great experience in teaching and deep insights of course. Exam levels are also competitive, so students try to do their best. With the latest industrial knowledge delivered in the course and giving more practical knowledge preference students get actual ideas about industry.

Satisfied with the course and the college. Very well designed course makes you industry ready.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students were placed in the placement year 2024. The highest package offers in my course was 16.5 LPA, the lowest was around 3 LPA, and the average package was 5.5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Halliburton, Reliance Industries, Shell Business Operations, S&P Global, EY, Karan Group, Sterling Oil and Gas. 100% of the students were offered internship opportunities in government and private sector companies. First, the students were offered with the private sector companies which were recruiting interns, and the ones who didn’t get the chance were also provided internships with the help of career development cell at PDEU. Top roles offered were Reservoir Engineer, Production Engineer, Wireline and Logging Executive, Business Analyst, Senior Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are top class for the petroleum engineering background. There are different labs like drilling and cementing lab, drilling fluid labs, Chemistry labs, computer and software labs, etc. Wi-Fi facility is 24/7, and the classrooms are too good, full AC classrooms with good quality boards and projectors. Library has almost all common books for every discipline. Total 3 libraries among all the disciplines. Hostel facility is very good having full AC rooms and good living space, sport facility and good mess. Quality of the food sometimes disappoints but still acceptable. Medical facilities are there, but not much aware of.
Faculty: Teacher at PDEU are very helpful and humble in nature. They are qualified for what they are teaching and helps in studies, research, and other curricular activities. In petroleum engineering, the course curriculum was very well designed according to the industry standards. Being here in the industry, I can definitely say that it was very good designed. Semester exams are not so difficult, but sometimes it depends on the professor too. In most cases, its difficulty is very moderate, so not so hard or easy too.
Other: The course was of my interest since SSC and I was pretty sure to pursue my career in the industry. Nothing to say much as the course design was so good that it does not feel difficult to adopt when placed in industry. It’s very well designed. There are multiple student chapters and clubs that are run by the students; they organise multiple events, activities and all. Also, the college provides scholarships to top 5 or 7 students of the batch. Not much aware about this but it’s there for sure.

Review of Pandit Deendayal Energy University.
Placements: Placement rate: 85% of students were successfully placed from these courses. The highest package offered was 48 LPA. The average package for CS students was 9.31 LPA and for ICT students was 6.31 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Reliance Industries, Adani Group, Amazon, Infosys, and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Our campus spans a lush 100-acre green space. We offer all AC rooms and Wi-Fi facilities, along with well-equipped labs. The hostel provides both AC and regular room services, with options for two or three sharing in rooms. Additionally, we have three doctors available for medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers, many from NIT and IIT, are highly qualified and supportive. The curriculum, though somewhat relevant, remains outdated. Semester exams are manageable, not overly difficult, with a passing mark set at 40%.

A: 

The 2023 placement session of PDEU (formerly known as PDPU) concluded with 90% of the students placed. Over 100 companies participated in the recruitment process. The the highest package stood at INR 42 LPA and the PDPU average package offered was INR 6.5 LPA. Google, Amazon, and ITC Limited were some of the prominent companies that participated in Pandit Deendayal Energy University placements 2023. The institute has also released the 2023 placement details for BTech and MBA courses. As per the report, out of 818 BTech students,  383 were placed during PDPU placements 2023. Further,  100% of MBA students were placed.
