Placements: The placements for the School of Technology were very good few years back, but now, the rate is declining, and people here are concerned about it. New measures are being taken so that students can perform better in the interview. The placement package being offered is also decreasing year by year and has touched new low in last few years. School of technology's students having technological skills are also rejected sometimes, just because lack of communication skills, but petroleum technology ha...
Placements: Around, 80% of the students got placed with the highest package of 18.5 LPA, the lowest of 4 LPA, and the average of 9 LPA. The companies like ONGC, EXXON, GSPC, Reliance, and Schlumberger have visited the campus to hire the students. The roles offered to the students were the reservoir, production and drilling engineer. All the students got the non-stipend internship from the college itself. PDPU has a placement cell, which has brought many big companies to PDPU for the on-campus placements.
Placements: The companies like Torrent Power, Reliance Power, Infosys, etc., are approached the campus for the students. The average package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is approximately 5 LPA. As the placement depends upon on the students quality, so the placements are done on an average. The placement is not satisfactory at all.
Placements: Specifically for petroleum engineering, the placements are better than other streams. The placements of our senior batch were about 80% were placed with an average Income of 4-5LPA. This year till now our batch has witnessed 60-70% students placed which would increase by May 2018; having an average income of 6-7 LPA this year. As far as internships are concerned 80-90% students are provided with the internships from college at one of the most reputed companies in India for Oil and gas industry....
Placements: The placements of SOT is at par. The chemical engineering and mechanical engineering branch placements were very good. In the chemical branch, about 90% of the eligible students got placed. Reputed companies like Honeywell, Chembond, SRF, Jubilant came for placements. Government companies like GSFC, GACL also came for hiring students. The highest placement was of 8 lacs per annum, and the average placement was 3.25 lacs per annum. There is a placement cell.
Placements: The summer internship placements were good for the junior batch, but there is a problem in final placement in general management batch. The average package showed is 7.1 lacs per annum, but it offered around 6 lacs per annum for our seniors. The package can also go high to 10 lacs per annum in the companies such as Accenture, TCS, Nerolac, Ambuja cement, Waghbakri and many more good companies visited the campus. The role offered in marketing are mostly sales or digital marketing. Almost more tha...
Placements: Well if you take an admission in this college do not worry about the placement and internship its bound to happen which means there is 100% placement. But there is a great variation in the placement packages ranging from Rs. 4.5 to Rs. 17 lakhs per annum. Thus grow yourself as much as possible. The average package offered is Rs. 7 lakhs per annum. The good number of the companies visit the college with variety of job profile. The consulting companies like KPMG, Protivity and Mott Mac Donald, PSU...
Placements: The placements were good. All the students were placed. The average package was decent. Everyone was satisfied with the placements. The placement committee makes sure that everyone gets their requirements fulfilled. Good companies with good profiles visit the campus, and the same goes for the summer internships.
Placements: The placements this year were not very great. According to my knowledge, particularly this time, the highest placement was from the petroleum branch. The average placement was in the petroleum branch which was Rs. 4 to 5 lakhs and in the mechanical branch, it was about Rs. 3 to 5 lakhs. The highest was about Rs. 6 lakhs, and in the electrical branch, it was an average of Rs. 3 to 5 lakhs, while the highest in the branch was from 6 to 7 lakhs per annum.
Placements: We don’t have seniors to our batch because we are the first batch after the inauguration. So, I could not say anything about the placement cell in this branch. Of course, the placements in the other branches are quite good and high. The placements for the students belonging to petroleum branch are on the peak, as our university is the petroleum origin university.
Placements: Our batch is second outgoing batch in the university. The placements are not so much since our seniors who got recruited left the jobs without any intimation which gave a bad opinion to the companies who came for recruitment. The companies that visited the college are L&T, Adani, Reliance Infrastructure, and some local companies in Gujarat and offered a role of site engineer. Nearly 40% of the students got an internship from the college.
Placements: The placements of our batch went pretty good. The average package of the batch 2013-17 was 3.5 LPA whereas the highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Upto 60% students of our batch were placed gainfully. The companies which visited to offer a gainful employment to the students were Capgemini, Infosys, Collabera, ACT TV, Universal Hunt and many more. The designations offered by such compelling companies to the students were Management Trainee, Implementation Specialist, Technical Supp...
Placements: Placements of my batch was just around 25 to 30%. Exact details of the paypackages can not be given. The scenario are said to be changed after the arrival of a new placement department. The students who got placement were offered trainee engineer, engineer, Marketing officer. All the students got internship (includes off-campus and on-campus) . No stipend was offered to anyone (as per my knowledge). 25 - 30% of the students got internship through faculty references and guidance, no internship wa...
Placements: The placements of School of Technology, PDPU may very well be rated below average. The packages range from a CTC of 1.20 LPA to 7.5 LPA. The notable recruiters for 2012 - 2016 batch happened to be Reliance Industries (Oil & Gas vertical), Adani Gas, IOAGPL, L&T, Futures First, Essar, Tata Power, Sangmar Projects, Sabarmati Gas Limited, Infosys, Jubilant Life Sciences, Deepak Nitride, and Ferromatic Milacron. Apart from these big names, there were lots of smaller companies offering meagre package...
Placements: The placement of our batch was good and almost 95% students were placed in our batch. 1 or 2 were remaining and that too due to some personal reasons. The highest package was around 12 lacs and the lowest was around 3 lacs. The average comes out to be around 6 lacs. The companies were GAIL, Infi, Wipro, DIACL, Adani, Protivity, Empire, E&Y, Sabarmati Gas, Gujarat Gas, etc. Roles like consultant, trainee, manager, auditing etc. were offered. Almost 100 % got the internship but very few people got...
Placements: School of Liberal Studies (SLS) claims to provide 100% placement to all the students of SLS. The companies that come during placement are Times Of India, Amul, Reliance, Aircel, Tata Motors, etc. Some of the students also go for exams like SBI PO and RBI exams and many of the students go for masters in foreign universities through various scholarships and fellowships. Also, the university provides some fellowship for the master programme to the toppers of School of Liberal Studies. The placement...
Placements: In my batch, placements were below average as it is just the 2nd batch. Around 40 to 45% were placed and mostly in core mechanical so this is quite a good thing about placements. But as per my knowledge, the recent batches had a good placement % than the past batches. About the internship, it is at 70% from the college.
Placements: Placements are really good. The average package of our seniors was around 4.5-5 lakhs. Our average package was around 5-5.5 lakhs and the highest package offered was around 6 lakhs. Some students join IT companies like Infosys and TCS. Some joined as a maintenance engineer.
Placements: Placement of our senior batch was good when compared to our batch. Up till now, 30% students have been placed in core and non-core companies. The highest salary offered is 4.5 LPA, the average salary is 3 LPA and the lowest salary is 1.5 LPA. Companies like L&T, Torrent Power, IMS People, Opal, Sabarmati Gas etc. recruited the students. In core companies, technical roles were offered in generation, maintenance and distribution in power plants. In non-core companies, roles were offered related to...
Placements: The petroleum engineering bifurcated in upstream and downstream petroleum engineering. Th upstream placement is 60% (AVG. 5 lakhs per annum), and downstream 80% (AVG 4 lakhs per annum) for the last year. It varies from year to year, this year, ONGC took around 20 students(18 upstream and 20 downstream).
