PULEET is the short form of Panjab University Lateral Engineering Entrance Test. It is organized by the admission authority of Panjab University, Chandigarh for admission to the second year of four-year Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree. The courses offered under BE programme are Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Biotechnology, Electrical & Electronics and Mechanical Engineering.

The exam authority was published the answer key on June 27, 2024. It comprised correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. Using PULEET answer key 2024, candidates anticipated their marks, rank and college to be allotted for admission. The last date for submission of objections to the answer key was June 29, 2024. The deadline for uploading the response to the objections and inviting cross-objections via email was July 5, 2024. And the last date of submission of cross-objections to the Answer Key was July 7, 2024. 

PULEET result was declared on July 2024 in online mode. Candidates who wrote the exam will be able to check their result by using their login credentials. The result shall encompass candidate’s name, roll number, marks, rank and other details. After qualifying the exam, candidates will be called for participating in the subsequent rounds of admission process.

The counselling takes place after the result declaration. Candidates whose names will be listed in the provisional list are eligible for verification of original documents. PULEET 2024 counselling process incorporates various stages such as filling the admission form and scrutiny form, reach to the counselling venue, document verification, fee payment and payment of admission fee.

The application form will be released online. Those candidates who will meet the eligibility criteria will be able to submit PULEET 2024 application form until the last date only. Candidates should fill the application form with correct details only otherwise it will be liable for rejection. They should not send the application form through any mode other than online. The application process encompasses various stages like registration, filling the application form, uploading photo & signature, fee payment, etc.

PULEET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. The admission authority will not entertain the application of non-eligible candidates. Check the eligibility criteria of PULEET 2024 below:

• Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering of minimum three years duration with 60% (55% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) after class 10 with Physics and Mathematics or 
• Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering (min. two years) with 60% (55% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) after Class 12 or
• Candidates who have passed DVoc from a Polytechnic college/institute with 60% (55% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) will be eligible for admission to the second year of BE program in the same stream only.
• Candidate must have passed their qualifying examination i.e. Diploma in Engineering not earlier than 2022.
• Candidates should have cleared the compartment in Diploma in Engineering before applying for the exam.
• Admission would be made on the basis of merit obtained in the Entrance Examination PULEET 2024 conducted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh.

PULEET exam pattern 2024 gives an understanding of the exam type, total questions, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. The exam will be conducted for 1 hour 40 minutes wherein total 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked. The admit card will be issued to the eligible candidates only. They will be able to download their admit card by using the login credentials. The exam authority will not share the admit card through email, fax, post, etc. PULEET admit card 2024 will be required at the time of appearing in the exam.
