B.Tech. in CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2024

University is good for everything.
Placements: Maximum members are placed in jobs, and some students are not placed because they have no skills. There are many companies coming to hire students, like Google, Microsoft, Tesla, Swiggy, Tata, etc. Management has pre-planned for the placements. Seventy-five percent got internships from SCE.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, not bad, and the infrastructure is too good for any branch. There are many labs for CSE students. Some Wi-Fi problems are there, but it's okay. However, after midnight, Wi-Fi stops. Sports and medical facilities are too good, and the food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to students. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good, and the curriculum is relevant. The semester is difficult because they ask in-depth questions on the topics.
Other: Events are conducted every week, but the management forces the students to attend the fests. Scholarships are also available. SCE is the best for engineering because they place students in any company.

Life at Parul University.
Placements: The placement percentage of our college is 83%. The highest package is 45 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package is said to be 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Accenture, Microsoft, L&T, and Genpact were the top recruiters. Mostly, the campus offers training classes to face the interviews also.
Infrastructure: It's a fully Wi-Fi campus, and labs are fully equipped with modern machinery. The central library is still under construction, but the college library offers all the books we need. Teaching here at Parul is really great. Teachers here are fully experienced. They are very particular about every student in the class. The teaching system is good enough to grasp the attention of the students.
Faculty: Teachers are fully experienced and highly qualified. They teach us to understand any topic in an easy way. The course curriculum is adequate enough to face the industry outside the college. The semester exams are quite strict on the campus. The pass percentage per semester is around 73%.

The college where students learn about living.
Placements: Nearly 60 to 70 percent students get placed every year in good and medium companies. As for me, the highest package offered is 36 LPA and the average goes around 7 LPA. Top companies are Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Almost all the students gets the opportunity to do internships in good companies.
Infrastructure: The college provides a good infrastructure along with Wi-Fi, labs, big classrooms with good ventilation and also a good college environment. Coming to the hostels, the accommodation is very good in PU, but the food that they serve is limited and also is tasty enough for the other state students. Especially the students that come from South Indian states need to consider the food as a major factor while joining.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified enough to take classes but most of the teachers only have theoretical knowledge and not much of practical knowledge. The course curriculum is based on theory mostly with a very limited practical knowledge. The semester exams are medium hard to write but those who attend the classes can easily pass the exams. The passing percentage is 50 percent marks in total.
Other: I chose this course because it is leading in technology nowadays, so I decided to do this course to get more chances at jobs.

B.Tech. in CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2028

Average experience, teaching quality is good,& if you work hard, there are chances you'll get placed
Placements: I would tell here in the review about my course only in which I am studying, i.e., B.Tech - CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning). If compared with the number of students, the placement percentage is very low; it would be better if you search for off-campus placements and not depend upon on-campus placements, as there are very low chances of that. If we go through recent years, the highest package is no doubt 1 crore, but if we talk about the average package, it is 6-7 LPA, and the lowest package in the recent three years is 2 lakh. There are top companies that come here for placements, like Google, Microsoft, Intel, TCS, etc. But to be recruited by these companies, it is very tough and almost impossible. Most of the students got recruited in companies like Intel, TCS, and local companies, and when talked about the percentage, then it is about 8-10%.
Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, then it is above average. For all the different courses available here, there are different buildings/colleges with specific names. If we talk about CSE, there are four colleges available here, and labs are also available in sufficient amount. For different things, there are different labs for each subject, and there is also a Mac lab. If we talk about the library, then I'm not satisfied with the space there. There are books of all categories; besides subject books, there are novels, both fictional and non-fictional books, magazines, and encyclopedias, but the space is not that much big. Besides the library, there is a reading room where you can go for self-study. Tables and chairs are arranged there so you can go there with your own stuff and study what you want without making noise. For network connectivity, Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. All the college buildings, labs, library, reading room, hostels, and food courts have Wi-Fi connectivity. Inside the hostel, the facilities depend on the hostel you choose. There are different hostels based on facilities. If we talk about the number of students in a room, it varies from 2 to 10. Other factors are AC room and non-AC room, and common washrooms and attached washrooms. On that basis, hostels are divided. I would rate the quality of food in hostels 3 out of 5 and 4 out of 5 for the food courts. I am not satisfied with the food quality that I am getting. There are sports available here. For each sport, there are clubs, and you can join the club in which game you are interested. There are competitions between hostels, colleges, and even inter-university. The medical facility is good here. For those living in the hostel, they are only charged for the medicine; they are not charged for the treatment provided to them. There is also an ambulance available 24 hours. But one thing, you cannot go outside the hostel after 9:30 PM, despite being on the campus, which I do not like.
Faculty: The teachers available here are helpful. Some of the teachers are GTU-qualified, but they are very few in number. But that does not mean the rest are not qualified. They have degrees and 2-3 years of teaching experience. I would rate the teaching quality here 3.5 out of 5. The course curriculum is not so relevant, and when talked about industry preparation, they start giving it from the 5th semester onwards. There are three types of exams taken here: first, weekly exams, which happen every week in online mode on the portals of Parul University; second, the mid-semester examination; and lastly, the end-semester examination. The difficulty level is easy for the weekly exams, moderate for the mid-semester, and a little bit hard for the end-semester examination.
Other: If we talk about class size, each division has 75 students. Further, each division is divided into 2 batches. Theory classes of both the batches happen together, but they are separate in labs. I would recommend the college to improve the quality of education. It is okay but needs more improvement. Secondly, the management of the college and, most importantly, the quality of food should be improved. Extracurricular activities are here to do. There are several events that happen here. Almost all the festivals are celebrated here, whether they are national festivals or regional festivals. In the events, there are opportunities for students to participate, like dancing, singing, drama, etc. Besides these, they can also take part in event management, event coordination, become NCC cadets, and more.

A Deep Dive into the Campus of Parul.
Placements: Seven-semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are so many companies that visit our campus, like Reliance, Byju's, etc. The highest package at Parul University is 17 Lacs, and the average package is 5 Lacs. Around 70 percent of students get placements. My plan after my degree is to first gain experience in a good company and then open my own company.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in the lab only. Laboratories are well-equipped, but some systems are not working well. The library is small but sufficient because the campus has less crowd. Classrooms have facilities like projectors, smart boards, and air conditioning. There is no hostel facility available. There is no ground for sports, but they provide it in different places near the campus. The food quality of the canteen is quite good.
Faculty: Lots of faculty members are available, and they interact with students in a friendly manner. I like Salman Sir; he teaches us CTSD and explains very well. I don't like Sudip Sir; he teaches us Maths, and his teaching style is not good. Semester exams are of moderate level, and most students pass the exam.
Other: The overall experience with campus life, focusing on social aspects, club involvement, and infrastructure, is the best! The campus is really great! The sports involvement is also very great, and so many events take place in this college.

Review of Parul University.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies for my course are Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is around 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities at the university are quite good. University provides Wi-Fi for every hostel room. Labs are well-maintained and air-conditioned. Classrooms are also good. The quality of food is not as good compared to food available outside. University has medical facilities and a hospital on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful for the students to approach them for the development in studies. Semester exams are of a moderate level, which is not too hard. Pass percentage is 70% among all students.
Other: I chose this course for my career development, which will be very helpful for my future. The best thing about the course is the opportunity to develop ourselves by creating code and applications. Events and fests are more common at the university, held every 2 months, whether small or big. Campus surroundings are very good.
