PDM is the worst college ever.
Placements: In recent times, the college is going worse and worse. No placement in this college. Not a single company has come in recent times. For internships, they will tell you to do it yourself. Last year, one company came and offered a job with a 15,000 per month salary, but they had only 5 vacancies, and the crowd was too much. There is no placement in this college. Nobody gets placement in any course. If you came here for placement purposes, you will waste your money and time here. No placement, nothing. They will make you a fool.
Infrastructure: They have a very big campus area, but they have poorly maintained it. The hostel is also fully empty; no student lives here in the hostel. They take PG or rooms available to them because of the quality of food and living in a dark room. Buildings are getting old. Classrooms are dirty and are the house of birds. The fan is not working, and Wi-Fi is not working. Sports and games are jokes in this college. The quality of food is good, and the mess is clean. The mess staff is supportive, but the other departments are not good.
Faculty: Our course has 2 internal exams and one end-semester exam, but they do not take internal exams because there is very little staff, and there is no dean or HOD right now because of their internal issues. No teacher stays here, and nobody cares.
Other: No fests are there. They do it very rarely, once in 3-4 years.

PDM pharmacy university review.
Placements: Students from this university have been placed in good positions in industry and are also working as teachers, with a package of around 2–3 lacs, depending on the student and industry. GPAT-qualified students opt for higher studies at MPHARM. Some opened their businesses.
Infrastructure: The college has adequate space for games, labs, a library and classes. The college has Wi-Fi. Mess food is good and a medical rest room is also present for emergencies. Books in the library are sufficient for everyone and sports events are also actively organized by the college.
Faculty: The faculty at this college are very good and knowledgeable. They are experienced and helpful. Regular classes are conducted every day as per PCI guidelines. The exam level is moderate and happens monthly but the schedule is hectic for students. Education is good.
Other: Campus is good to enjoy here.

I would recommend this university if you want a private pharmacy college.
Placements: Above 80 to 90% of the students get placements from our college. The highest salary package offered is above 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA- 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Khoj Information, Hedge, and Hedge Pharmaceuticals. Less number of students get internships. Lab scientist, pharmacist, etc., are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is decent, and Wi-Fi is not available everywhere. Labs are good, and the classrooms are huge. We also have a library with every book which is required for the course. Hostel facilities are good and safe for students, and the food quality is also fine. Many ports and games are also available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and well qualified with a wide knowledge of their subjects. The quality of teaching is good for every student. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semesters exams are quite difficult but if you study properly, you will pass them. Almost 60% is the passing percentage.
Other: I choose this course because it gives me an opportunity for both business and a job that is the best thing for me. Wi-Fi can be more available, and labs can be more advanced. Events and fests are held many times which are refreshing. Scholarships are also provided for students.

I am dissatisfied with the working environment and staff members.
Placements: In PDM University, the placement percentage is very low. There are no placements for the pharmacy students. Some companies visited our college to hire the B.Tech students. Even a single company visited the college for the pharmacy students.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, but it has a bad network connection. The infrastructure of the campus is good. The campus has parks, a pool, and some smart classrooms. The food served in a mess is good. It has a CCD on the campus area and an open-air center. The university also has a general hospital. Hostel for girls is available inside the campus gate. The boys' hostel is available outside the campus gate.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and friendly. The quality of checking exam sheets is good. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Teachers are not much qualified. The pass percentage for the exam is about 50%, including the internal assessment and final examinations.
Other: PDM University has a crowded campus having Delhi, Haryana, or other state students. Campus life is good. The campus also conducts extracurricular activities, sports week, blood donation camp, fests, etc. It is connected with the metro and buses.

Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at PDM University a good choice?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

B.E./B.Tech at PDM University: Is it a Good Choice?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of the program:

Infrastructure and Facilities:

* The university has a good infrastructure, with Wi-Fi availability across the campus, well-equipped labs, and a digital library.
* However, some students mention that the infrastructure is not up-to-date, and there are maintenance issues with certain facilities.

Teaching Staff and Curriculum:

* Majority of the students praise the teaching staff, saying they are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable in their subjects.
* The curriculum is considered relevant and industry-focused, helping students develop practical skills.

Placements and Internships:

* Placements vary across departments, but overall, about 70-80% of students get placed.
* Major companies visiting the campus include TCS, Amazon, Cisco, Infosys, and IBM, offering average salary packages ranging from INR2.5 Lacs to INR6 lakhs.
* Students also get internships, with some mentioning that it's possible to secure internships without needing to apply separately.

Campus Life and Activities:

* While some students appreciate the peaceful surroundings, others mention that the campus is quite isolated and lacks diversity in terms of cultural events and activities.
* The annual fest, Paradigm, is enjoyed by many students, but it's organized infrequently.

Challenges and Areas for Improvement:

* One area of concern is the relatively low number of companies visiting the campus for placements, particularly for certain departments.
* Another challenge mentioned is the inconsistent quality of teaching among faculty members, although most are well-qualified.

Conclusion:

While there are areas for improvement, the majority of students seem satisfied with the program. With its strong emphasis on industry relevance, dedicated teaching staff, and decent placement record, B.E./B.Tech at PDM University appears to be a viable option for those interested in the field. However, potential students should weigh the pros and cons carefully and consider factors like infrastructure updates, diverse campus activities, and consistent teaching quality when making their decision.
