PESSAT MBA 2019: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) is a computer-based management entrance exam for admissions to B Tech, BBA, B Des, BBA, LLB, B Arch, MCA, MBA, M Tech, M Com, M Sc in Applied Science programmes at PES University.

PESSAT management test is conducted only at PES University campus in Bangalore.

Here’s the eligibility criteria for PESSAT:

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (Under-graduation should be for a minimum of three years)
• The candidate present a qualifying score in any one of the below entrance exams: PESSAT/MAT/CAT/CMAT
• Please note: For VTU MBA aspirants, PGCET scores are mandatory. PESSAT is not applicable for the VTU MBA at PESIT South Campus, PESIMSR & PES Central Campus
• The candidate should clear the personal interview rounds conducted at the PES University campus

Currently, PES University offers three MBA programmes:

Candidates can also apply to the MBA courses on the basis of PESSAT/MAT/CAT/CMAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview (PI). Once the candidate clears PESSAT exam and PI rounds, admission will be granted.

PESSAT results are usually declared within a week of taking the test. 

Admissions at PES University is a three step process: Application, Slot Booking, PESSAT and Counselling/Interview.

STEP 1: Application process

Candidates can apply for PESSAT by filling a form online. To apply online, the candidate will need to register as a new user. On successful registration, the candidates will get their login IDs. 

STEP 2: Slot booking

After submission of form, the candidates will be asked to book a slot for the exam. Once they have booked their slot, admit card will be issued. The candidates must download their admit card

STEP 3: PESSAT 2019

PESSAT for all courses except B Tech will be conducted at the Bangalore campus. B Tech exam will be held at over 40 test centers across the country.

STEP 4: Counselling/Interview

Candidates passing PESSAT will be called for Counselling and Interview, on the basis of their scores. A merit list will be released which will contain ranks and schedule for the same. 

PESSAT for MBA courses will only be conducted at the PES University campus in Bangalore.
