The college has good placement and it was really good for infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The average percentage can be seen here, and top recruiting companies are making offers for internships and other opportunities. At least 80% of our class was placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities at the College of Agricultural Engineering, Sanga Reddy are quite good. They have facilities in every department, including biochemistry, entomology, pathology, horticulture, extension, agricultural engineering, economics, agronomy, and the statistics department. They also have food available in the mess and the canteen, and they have sports facilities.
Faculty: Sometimes the teachers are helpful, but other times not so much. It depends on their time and their mood. The coursework is informative, and other times it's just a review. The exams are difficult, and the courses are relevant to the curriculum.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn about plants and animals, and how to develop them in the future. The course has helped me improve my skills and knowledge, and I'm finding it very interesting. However, I'm disappointed that there are no scholarships available yet, and I'm not sure when they will be.

Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University.
Placements: 30% placements should be given to the students in each batch year. Highest package up to 8 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 4 Lacs per annum. Coramandal, several fertilizer, and SEED companies provide good job opportunities to the selected students. I have not completed this course, but my senior batch mates have got 30% job opportunities in Coramandal company. Bank sector, fertilizer manager, field manager, AEO, AO, etc.
Infrastructure: Buildings are good enough to study, but in some classrooms, there is no proper ventilation. But in the second year, there are good facilities of digital classes, fans, ventilation, speakers, seminar hall. There is a central library where you can utilize your time in reading books. If you want to take any book home, you would be provided with a library card, and we should apply for it in the library. Hostel buildings are okay, but in some washrooms, tap water may not come. The mess is reasonable—it's like not good, not bad, it's average, I can say about it. The playground with multiple facilities is also there, and gym facility is also present.
Faculty: Teachers treat us like we are their own children, and they help in academics as well as co-curricular activities. Professors in the university have more experience and knowledge about it. They suggest students to study well. This is an extraordinary course; you can find numerous job opportunities. We can go for higher studies also. Coming to exams, there is no gap between semesters, every day has an exam, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for the agricultural sector, and this is the best course to experience the difficulties of farmers. Practical sessions are strictly conducted. This would be effective when the university provides better lab facilities. Eligible candidates will get a scholarship up to 28k, but it takes more time to be funded.

Satisfaction is more through this campus for this course.
Placements: When it comes to placements, there is no guarantee that the university will hire the students. The students will have to search for employment. And the student will do the internship itself at the college under the supervision of the professor and dean of the college.
Infrastructure: The college and facilities are average, the availability of hostels is there and extracurricular activities like games and sports are also available to the students. The medical facilities available to the students on campus in case of an emergency at the hospital .
Faculty: The semester exams will be conducted by the university in the centers with the help of CC. The 50% marks to be achieved for the qualification. The curriculum is fixed and does not modify; if done, it is noted. The faculty are super talented and well-talented, many of whom are Ph.D. qualified.
Other: Events like tradition days, farewell, freshers, and college days are done, as is the scholarship for merit students with a value of INR 40,000 per semester. For better opportunities, this course is suggested.

Study in PJTSAU and build your career.
Placements: Last year, nearly 72 percent of students got placements. The package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Various SEED technology, fertilizers and pesticide companies will come to our college for recruitment. I don't have an idea of how many students got internships from my course. There are various opportunities that a student will get after the course completion.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college hostel, classrooms, as well as various departments, is good, but they are of old architectural design. The quality of facilities in my hostel is average and the food is very hygienic and well prepared. There are various facilities for health, such as a primary health centre, available in my college. There is also a sports club that conducts various intercollegiate tournaments in my college.
Faculty: The professors here are very friendly and help the students in their future goals. They are well qualified and very experienced in their fields. This course makes the student skilled and ready for industrial practices. The exams are medium level and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I want to help the farmers and it is my passion. This course has good career opportunities. There is a need for practical implementation and new courses like artificial intelligence in agriculture. This college also provides good scholarships for students.

College of agriculture: produces future agriculturists.
Placements: This college provides placements for nearly 40 to 50 percent of students based on their GPA, skills, and experience. The average package ranges from 4 to 5 LPA. I don't have an idea of the recruiting companies and the percentage of students who got internships. Many roles, such as agricultural officer, are provided in this course.
Infrastructure: Our college also provides a digital library and better connectivity. The infrastructure of the college is good but the architectural design is old. The hostel is very well organized, and the food provided is of good quality and hygiene in the mess and canteen. Our college also has a primary health centre and many sports and games at both district and state levels.
Faculty: The professors here are very experienced and qualified with a helpful nature and they show us the better future options. This course gives the students practical exposure and industrial knowledge through hands-on experience. The semester exams are very good if prepared well and 50% is the passing percentage.
Other: I chose this because my relatives suggested it to me as it provides better future options. This course also needs the introduction of new subjects such as artificial intelligence in agriculture, etc. There are many events and fests organized here in this college every month. It also provides scholarships for ICAR students.

PJTSAU is good because of its faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are satisfactory, yet the companies do not have a direct affiliation or partnership with the institute for the two-year course. Examinations are conducted every six months, following a semester-wise pattern, but there is no avenue for employment through this institute. Additionally, internships are not provided.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are hygienic, and CCTVs with Wi-Fi are available throughout the entire campus of the institute. Hostel facilities are also available, and the food provided is delicious with a good, nutritious menu. Medical facilities are also available, along with sports and games facilities.
Faculty: The examinations are held very strictly on campus, the curriculum is fixed, and the teaching is nice. The pass percentage is 50%. The faculty is well-trained, possessing good knowledge, and the teaching quality is somewhat okay. Students gain more knowledge from them very well.

Q:   Does B.tech Agricultural Engineering have a better placement rate than B.Tech in food technology?

A:

Both Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology is an excellent field from an educational purpose. However, B.Tech in Agricultural Enginnering is a widely known field hence the competition is higher, making it a challange to get a good placement.

While B.Tech in Food Technology is a new field and is yet to be known to so many .

After pursuing B.Tech in agriculture engineering, one can become an agricultural engineer, crop researcher, microbiologist, plant physiologist and much more.

On the other side, student pursuing B.Tech in Food Technology also has so much to choose from like a good consultant, food microbiologist, production manager, private food inspector, food research scientist among many others.

However while talking about figures, food technology is something new and is yet to be extremely competitive like Agriculture Engineering. So, a degree in B.Tech in Food Technology is definitely better than B.Tech in Agricultural Enginnering in terms of good placement. However both fields are intersting on their own, and are being chosen by a vast majority of students nowadays.
