Best University in Raiganj, West Bengal.
Placements: During the final year of our college program, students are eligible for campus placements. Around 60–70% of students get placed, with the highest package being around 20–25 lacs per year and the lowest being 10–12 lacs per year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and others visit our campus for placements. Unfortunately, our college does not provide any internship opportunities. However, our course offers various roles, including software development, web development, cyber security, and more.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge seminar room, three big computer labs, a projector in every room, and every department has Wi-Fi facilities. Hostels are good, and Wi-Fi facilities also have their. Food quality is good in a mess. Our college has organized many sports like cricket, football, and NCC-type extracurricular activities.
Faculty: All the teachers and staff members are incredibly helpful. They have the ability to fix any problem that you might encounter. The majority of the teachers have PhD degrees, and their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares the students well for the industry. The semester exams are not too difficult, and if you follow the teachers' classes, it will be easier to crack. The pass percentage is approximately 98%.
Other: I chose this course because I love the IT sector; that's why my dream is to become a web developer. The best thing about my course, BCA, is that it trains the students in the IT field.

Pros and Cons of Raiganj University.
Placements: Raiganj University doesn't provide any placements so the percentage is very low even less than 2%
however in 2022 Orient gems & tournaments Pvt. Ltd. conducted a placement drive at the Department of CIS and a few students were selected. Also they don't provide any internship.
Infrastructure: They have a library where you can access a wide range of books related to your courses. Classrooms are spacious Some classrooms have projector with Wi-Fi available. They have Laboratory for practical subjects. Toilets are clean and hygienic. Additional, there is a hostel facility available for eligible students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful most of them are Ph.D. qualified and very knowledgeable
the quality of study here prepares students for the industry although there is still need improvement. Semester exams are conducted every 5-6 months so you will get enough time for cover the syllabus. In my personal experience the exams are not so much difficult you will easily pass if you attended the classes regularly so the difficult depends on the students. The pass percentage in my course is 87%. .
Other: As I was interested in Programming languages and Computer application so I choose this course. The best aspect of this course is that it enhances your problem solving skills and creative thinking which can lead to easier job placements. As they don't provide any placements so you have to apply for off campus placement. The annual fest, known as RAIVARSI fest, is typically held in December or January. The number of students currently studying here 10632. The campus covers an area of 24.71 acres
located in the main town near the State Bus stand, stadium and government hospital. You can join National Cadets Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme.

Our college is the best place for learning and for future opportunities.
Placements: The university has many career based courses like commerce, MBA, law, etc. which help students to find placements in India or abroad. If anyone is trying for the betterment of his or her future then they must undergo this university to know the basic knowledge about business or future career. 65% students from our batch are doing jobs by their own.
Infrastructure: The university has a decorated, clean and green campus. The university is fully free Wi-Fi zone and has a central library where anyone can find books of local and foreign authors. The university has an equipment based labs, digital classrooms, clean canteen, good hostel rooms and students’ health care unit. Annual sports meet also creates amusement in students and all teaching and non-teaching staff.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, personally and cordially. They are highly qualified on their own. Their teachings influence us and they even help us in our family problems. They get in touch with us even outside the university. Both digital and manual teaching methods are used and the college helps us to get industry exposure and in project making.
Other: Every year "RAIVARI-FEST" are held in the month of December. It's the festival of meeting all the departments closely under a single name "DEPARTMENTAL EXHIBITION". Campus surrounding are the houses of local inhabitants and there is also many central and state government scholarship for poor and brilliant students, and the university has gymnastics which helps students to make a fame for themselves globally.

I am satisfied with this stream in Raiganj University, and this is really a good decision for me.
Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in my course this year. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 1.5 LPA, and the average package is 2 LPA.
Top recruiting companies are VI, Jio, Infosys, BYJU's etc.
All the students got a chance to do an internship. Business associate and trainer engineer roles are offered mainly in my course.
Infrastructure: All the computers in the lab are in working condition. Our department provides free Wi-Fi. The classrooms are in good condition. The hostel quality is really good. The quality of food is good. The quality of sports and medical facilities is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and helpful. All the teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. BCA stream is really very useful. The semester examinations are not so difficult, and no questions are given from outside the syllabus. The pass percentage is 95%.

It is a good university to start your career.
Placements: None of the students from our course got placed because the university did not organise any campusing for students. The salary is not offered for students. None of the company visited our college for placements, and no roles are offered to the students. None of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The university has its own Wi-Fi, labs, and library. The university also had a good canteen. The college is good at sports. Medical facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are average because some are good and teach students well, but some are bad. Some teachers in our course are helpful and qualified. The course curriculum is very good for students who like computers, and it is the best way to develop your computer skills. But our university is not that good for pursuing this course because placements are not available here which students want at the end of the course.
Other: When I was a child, I like computers more, which is the main reason I have chosen this course. I have no other option to complete my graduation in B.Tech because I am an art student of computer application background. I think in this course, the college should provide more programing language for students to learn and improve the syllabus. Our university arranged a fest at the end of the year named Raiversity Fest. It is awesome for students. Eligible students get a scholarship. Our university also arranged tournaments like indoor and outdoor.
