Placements: Placements were good approximately 32% students were placed in campus placement drives with an average CTC of 3.1 Lacs highering to about 12 Lakh and as low as 1.6 Lakh. Many companies including Wipro, Sapient, United Health Group visited the campus for recruitment and students were placed as trainees in various fields. Stipends for internship varied from 4000 to about 18000 a month depending on where internships are done.
The faculty is very friendly and they helped me throughout my course. The campus was not so big but it has every basic facilities. The placements are good especially in Computer science stream and for the BDS stream it is one of the best colleges in Punjab right now. A school is also there and hence students can start their career with the college from 11th class onwards which is very beneficial.
This college is situated 18kms away from Chandigarh. Infrastructure of this college is good and lab is well maintained with fewer instruments. College faculty is average, few of the teachers are well educated and half of the faculty have no experience and directly come here after completing their graduation. Very poor placement record, only 25-30% get placed in IT Company. Many companies that come for recruitment are mostly BPO’s.
As it is located close to Chandigarh, the crowd is quite good. Faculty and facilities are decent. You do get the opportunity to explore new avenues during your studies, as the curriculum is really chilled out. If you are really serious about your studies and career, then you should go for another college. Otherwise, it's a decent college to have fun during 4 years of your study.
Well, it is a good college but not reproductive for mechanical students. The college has no tie ups with any industry and hence, provides no placements for even the toppers. Faculty is not experienced. Campus is just average. Nice hostel facilities along with sports facilities but food of the mess is below average. Fees is more as compared to the facilities and faculty. Faculty is non cooperative when someone is in real problem. They try to make more money by any means. Overall, college is ave...
The college's infrastructure is good but the faculty is average. Most of the faculty members are just graduates who have now started teaching. Their knowledge is not up to the mark. The labs look good but they won't let you try any new things in labs. The college library is good. The faculty members are not strict and I think that is a good thing. The college crowd is good and the hostels are nice. There is one basketball court and and 3 grounds in the campus. The placements are not good, exce...
Thanks to this college that I am able to nourish and flourish my skills. I have mixed reviews for this college. Faculty members of Rayat and Bahra are quite cool and supportive. Even though the campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is fabulous but the placements are only average. The fee structure at my time of joining was very high which I feel is not worth the money as the ROI is very low. The college crowd is not so great.
It is topmost engineering college in north India. It offers engineering in various fields and has campuses in Punjab and nearby states .the faculty is well experienced and well educated. The crowd of college belongs to various culture and regions. College take initiative for the placement of the students.
The campus has beautiful ground in front of building with lot of greenery. Campus crowd is really good as most of the students are locality and from within the tricity. Though the teaching staff is not that good but still makes sure that the concept is cleared to students. The college can have more efficient staff so that students can be guided properly. A well-informed, intelligent and intellectual faculty is always an asset to have. Infrastructure is pretty good as the classrooms are nice and ...
College was initially good with different students from different demographics but now most of the students are local only. College has shut down its women's engineering which was a different block from co-ed due to insufficient student’s admissions. Anyone can get admissions via paid seat, even a person having compartment in high school. Coming to placement, in a batch of 60 students, only 2 got selected during 2014 batch. Academics is overall average but remember no practical aspect will be pr...
The college was good in study wise but the fee was very high for the students. Infrastructure of the college was good. Teachers were well qualified and had knowledge of their respective subjects what they teach us. The fee structure at my time of joining was very high.
The college is average. The teaching faculty is also average. As far as infrastructure if concerned its good. The best part of college is its placements, the placement is quite good as compared to other colleges. There are good companies that will be there to hire you.
College is normal in terms of infrastructure and study. Teachers are good but one should be dedicated enough to learn from them. Lab facility is poor. Practical knowledge can’t be achieved. Extracurricular activities are not so encouraged by the college. One has to do his/her own efforts for the same. Crowd quality is normal. Mess facility is not so good.
