Satisfied with the college life but not with the placements.

Placements: The placements are good in the university, but after MBA don't go for UG courses. The top MNC takes participation in the university. The salary packages are attractive. The only thing which lacks is, there are a few placements for UG courses like BBA, B.Com, BCA, etc.

Satisfied with everybody, especially the chairman of the university is good and calm.

Placements: The college has more than 70% placements this year with the highest package of 10 LPA. The students from MBA and B.Tech computer science got placed in with the highest package of 10 LPA. The average package offered was 4 LPA.

Satisfied with the teachers, curriculum and placements.

Placements: There were around 65% placements in the batch of 2015. The university has the separate placement cell which looks for the need of the students and matches it with the company requirements. In our batch, the companies like Wipro, IBM, Indian Army, TCS, Hewellet Packard and much more visited the campus. The average package was prevailing between 3-4 lakhs per annum, and the highest package was around 10 lakhs per annum. But the college cell does not offer the internships. ...

It has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The college, as per guidelines of Punjab University, Patiala, to which it is affiliated at that time, had provided internships to the whole batch under very eminent lawyers at District Court, Chandigarh and P&H, HC, Chandigarh. However, the college didn't provide any placements.

Great infrastructure but bad placements.

Placements: The college needs to work a lot on its placements. Only 50-55% students of our batch got placed and that too only of computer sciences or IT branch. The placements are worst in the case of mechanical engineers and ECE students. Companies like Wipro, Sapient and few local companies such as Click Labs visited the campus and offered the average package of 3-3.5 LPA to the students. The highest package offered was around 5-6 LPA.

I am fully satisfied with the faculty and the placement system.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch were excellent. There is a development in the placement system. Almost all the students were placed. The salary offered to the students of my senior batch was good. Many companies visited the campus. All the students got an internship.

Satisfactory in all aspects.

Placements: Placements were good but limited to certain companies. Mass recruiters visited our campus the most. Limited placements in product based companies. If you are selected in one company, authorities would not even allow you to try for another company visiting the campus.

Fantastic four years of campus life.

Placements: There were no placements provided by the college placement team at all. Moreover, they scheduled a well planned fake placement week where they called some professional actors with whom many students were made to attend the interviews. The college placement committee never bothered to get the students placed in the esteemed organisations. In fact, they never ever took any pain for the placements of the students.

Average faculty and placements.

Placements: The placements are okay. But if you have skills then you don't need to worry about it. Wipro was the mass recruited which hired a total of 100 students. Amdocs recruited a total of 20 students. Amdocs offered a package of 5.5 LPA while Wipro offered a package of 3.3 LPA. The third good company was Emerson which is located in Chandigarh only and provided a package of 3.74 LPA. From the senior batch of 2014, UHG was the company which recruited 40-50 students. Although UHG did not visit for recruit...

The university is good as compared to other private universities.

Placements: Placements in this university are well-appreciated. Many MNCs visit our campus. Our seniors have got placed in well-known companies. Approximately 605 of the strength got placed with pretty good packages starting from 3 lakhs per annum to a maximum of 15 lakhs per annum. Tech giants such as Wipro and TCS visit our campus every year.

Average college placements in 2015.

Placements: The placements are average for this college. There are many companies that come for campus placement, like Wipro, Clicklabs, Emerson. Bulk hiring is done by Wipro only and Amdocs takes only 15 people. Emerson hires 10 people. Apart from that, placements are average. Many local companies also come for recruitment, which provides free training as well. My senior got placed in UHG with a package of 3.3 lakhs and I got placed in Wipro with the same package. The highest package was offered by Microso...

Rayat Bahra University is situated in Mohali. The infrastructure of the college is good, which includes all sports and gym facilities. The mess provided also supplies good food. The crowd of college was also good. The faculty was highly supportive and good. The college lags a bit in the placements and needs improvement.

The college has a big campus, food joints, etc. Bad – The faculty is not that good, same teacher teaches new subjects every semester. Interactive Classes and Regular Seminars are a big plus point of Rayat and Bahra. College just lacks parking facility and sitting area in open i.e. no shady trees are planted to highlight the building. No separate cricket and football ground. No sitting arrangement in the playground during sports events.

Rayat and Bahra has gain popularity last year which makes student feel privileged but the environment is not that good. Crowd seems to be bit churlish as most of them come from rural area so there is lot of cultural difference which could be seen. As the college is not very old so the infrastructure is new. The lecture halls are quite big and spacious. The computer science department is very good as compared to other departments. There are no AC class rooms and in summers it is as hot as hell in the class rooms. The fans need to be fixed. More of outlets need to be opened in the campus. The stationary shops in the campus are plundering the students. And the administrative staff should be more responsible rather than delaying it for no reason. Overall it's a good college.
